He did, but he just couldnt be “with her” because he knew it was wrong to be with someone who’s already engaged. Even if Etsuko loved him, as long as Etsuko is engaged, they will never have a happy ending, nor a future together. Thats why Misaki left. ‘Though the part where they talked about Etsuko not being able to bear a child would confuse anyone, because it seemed like that was the reason why Misaki didnt want to be with Etsuko, it wasnt, it was more of like a reason for Etsuko.

It really does get confusing.. Thanks a lot ur explanation cleared a lot of things..and I think that maybe etsuko liked the guy too and is guilty (don't know an appropriate word) not being able to bear a child, she is broken somehow and she's a more complex character than I imagined

It really doesn't do justice to the original work when so many scenes are cut in between, sometimes the dialogues feel disconnected and it's all because of that

Sihoo had a harsh childhood too, his mother specially never let Sihoo do things he liked and controlled everything in his life and now he's starting to feel affection from myunghan, so he's kinda getting possessive... Hope Sihoo becomes more understanding and changes for the better!!

I know I didn't want a kid between Namibia and Don too but looking at how long they were together, it was bound to happen but still there's bound to be some attachments when there's a child connecting them.. So let's only hope they are good and happy in their own choices
