intricate plot & realistic portrayal of human psychology. this story touched on subjects that leave you aggrieved & questioning humanity, what's right or wrong in a world so torn apart by disease and conflict. sure some complain about unexplained things but i liked that we didn’t fully know what was going on because of the biased perspective. and sak & limas growth both individually & as a pair was stunning. they embodied the us against the world trope beautifully. they might never be free in a world like this, being on the run forever, never knowing if they'll see tomorrow, but it's all toleratable as long as they're by eachother's side. absolutely poetic, esp the epilogue. hm: my boy echo, rip baby

I liked the core message of this story, every aspect of a person, no matter negative or positive, whether they like that side of themself or not, is crucial to who they truly are. and to love someone is to accept their flaws, ofc as long as those flaws aren't causing serious harm to others.
other than that, I felt like the part where doyoung realized mr rose was the actual 'fake' here was a bit underwhelming after all the anticipation bc I guess that was very predictable, and purples death was the part that made my heart drop. his suicide really tied together the main point of the story, everyone hated eachother but purple's self hatred made it clear to them how cruel they were being to themselves, to hyunjin. anyway my favorites throughout the story was orange and blue, plus purple at the end.
