i kept up with this for a while when this came out but what I read scarred me so much i had to drop this. the way the men treated mc made my stomach churn, especially that one chapter w that old hag higher-up and the guard dude. im usually okay with heavy and serious plots like this but this one was too much for some reason and made me feel dread. im still subscribed to this so sometimes i think about picking this up again but i chicken out everytime lol so im commenting without checking out the rest of the chapters just to say i care for the mc and i wish him the very best.

i really love the backstory and brian and soleite's development and soleite slowly learning human emotions which doesn't seem to be the case for a lot of the comments. ian and brian are completely different and honestly i like brians character a lot more than ian. kinda makes me sad to see all the brian hate lol

I hate Brian and the backstory lmao. It will probably be a whole season of backstory, I think author at this point should have made it a different series, a prequel. That way the backlash wouldn’t be so big and people who don’t want a long backstory of characters they dislike wouldn’t be getting it shoved down their throats.
LOL the hate for Brian is because of the author's failure to build the story appropriately. I have read a lot of this kind of twist but other authors were able to execute it very well with a well-maintained balance of the main story and backstory. Totally not this author.
