I think Luciano was probably indirectly trying to say that she should run and come back to her birth family, getting away from the imperials - something that Inez would only be able to do with the prince's permission. He couldn't talk about that directly when they were most likely being watched, but failed *horribly* to convey the true message in a way an Inez freshly traumatized from ongoing abuse wouldn't get even more traumatized

Sadly no, all I remember is someone talking about how ML falls first and go after MC in a "you started it now better commit yourself" mindset, but overall has a mild personality comparing to toxic plots. And MC takes a lot of time to open up thanks to his fucked up family
