my granny is living with me and my parents, since my grandpa passed away in 2020. and she's starting to show signals of forgetfulness, and dementia. everytime we try to take care of her bc of her new condition, she simply rebels and say's she's no child, says she feels like she's in prison and stuff... we try to be patient, bc we understand is not easy for someone to be confused all the time, to slowly notice that they are forgetting more and more... it's really difficult, so I hope the son and the granny in the story can deal with it peacefully and remember that, above everything, they're family and they love each other.
