Shin is hands down the best BL protagonist.
He is always my favourite. So smart, so pragmatic, actually soft but really knows how to hold his own and doesnt back away from a fight,, and the way he orchestrates and thinks through EVERYTHING. I love this man.

Like he had no business running his mouth like that to Haesoo who treated him with kindness, and genuinely TRIED to return his feelings and also sincerely apologized to Taku. Dude is it Haesoo's fault that he doesnt like you after a month of dating?? It was limited to a month and a "trial" relationship for a reason i-
Also what is up with the way he guilt trips Haesoo lol. Like TAKU is the one that made the advances to Haesoo not the other way around. Taku is the one that said they could use each other. Taku and Haesoo literally made a pact about how they won't have hard feelings no matter the outcome, and Taku is the one who broke that rule. He willingly dug himself into the mess, so how can he stand there and spite Haesoo for it eh??? (￣△￣) Doesn't sit right with me.

Also can't help but notice Joowon would *never*. How can I forget their separation in chapter 57 (something 10x heavier than taehae breakup). Haesoo said some of the meanest things to him and Joowon was only like: "if i give up everything for you/for us?". then he calls days later like "haesoo i'll always be there for you even as a brother/friend, i'm just all yours". like SIR. LOVE YOURSELF. Forget Haesoo for a bit, he doesnt deserve your unconditional love rn lmao

I love this manhwa ╥﹏╥ <33 I actually read the Remastered version first, and when I caught up with it (since it's only on chapter 17 rn), I switched to the original cause I got impatient lol.
So far, I love the story and characters its absolutely adorable!! I love how the Remastered version is drawn though. Imo the characters look a lot better and scenes are drawn so much more detailed/realistically-- I just feel more emotions in the drawings and style, and the dialogue seems to be better written in that one too. So I'm super excited to see this full story come to life in the Remastered version :")

i cant shut up about joowon's letter.
he had the most development in this story. not just development though: the more the story progressed the more you understood his actions and thoughts, and why he did what he did that made me judge him at first. in my opinion he was the most sympathetic character of the 3, and I say this from someone who liked him the least when starting lol. he had the most redeeming qualities and he took so many hits in this story (literally and figuratively) for haesoo's sake. despite him seeming all arrogant at the start, he just matures and learns how to let go of his fears of losing haesoo, and actually confesses to him so wholeheartedly i cryyyy. what im trying to say is: joowon best boy.

Honestly while yall are all sad for Taku... I really think this is better for him?? Like yeah he's hurt at the moment, but it was a 1 month thing, he'll be fine. Like really, considering the fact that he was kinda suffering in the relationship to begin with.
At the start he ignored all of Haesoo's warnings about how emotionally unavailable he is, and he said that he wanted to be with HS despite knowing that HS liked someone else... but he just ended up getting too deep with his feelings. Like to the point that he often seemed anxious or upset that Haesoo wasn't really his. Being in an unrequited rebound relationship is the worst. So I'm just relieved for him. Plus his exhibition did great.

Also, after this 1 month period, I'm sure he knows better now to not start any relationship on the groundwork of manipulation or "using" someone. and ofc not to get involved with someone who likes someone else lol

I normally hate cold, angry, aggressive tops in BL. But with this manhwa, there's something so SATISFYING when the pair is reunited after breaking up, and eunho is no longer this bright, gentle and cheerful boy. I mean i adored that sweet side to him, but his change in character just made so much sense considering all the events of the story. I loved seeing that shift in him.

By the end of the story ofc he goes back to being very sweet and gentle, but I just liked seeing that colder, more aggressive eunho at a point in the story :)

If Seungho doesnt die a painful death by the end i’ll be disappointed. And if he ends up with the mc, then nakyum really does have some form of stockholm syndrome... Like I hope the author isnt out here trying to write a story where violent rapists and abusers are magically “fixed” because their victim “loves them”, its just messed up.

but then again why do i have any realistic expectations from the yaoi genre lol

Just started reading this, and I lowkey feel like the author isn't TRYING to antagonize Yawhi that hard, even though thats what they ended up doing lol. Like you'd be surprised at the number of people that dont realize or understand that when someone is so extremely drunk, regardless of whether they say they want to have sex, it is STILL NOT CONSENSUAL. Why? Because the person is not in the stable state of mind to actually consciously consent. The fact that Jooin didnt even clearly remember the event or wasnt aware that it was reality is terrible. Ofc there are exceptions, like if a couple are dating and they've discussed this sort of stuff. But otherwise, having sex with someone that drunk, while youre sober/close to sober is literally rape.
