I just LOVE this mangaka to the core

didn't like how mc shift from the boy to teacher...rusched and not clear. didn't like the gentle boy was not the choosed one, didn't like the way sensei acted at all, even if I appreciate the focus on his weak part in last chap. It's ok if we don't know why Rin commited suicide, in fact that's interesting.. the point was that they couldn't expect that, and sensei lived in the past and in confusion, so it's good making the readers feel that too. I also think depression is very mysteriuos so it's ok not to know.

I hve to say...I read manga since more than 20 year and in a shoujo I never saw a guy THAT ATTRACTIVE. Matsunaga-san is, in my opinion, an amazing 2D character. He isn't a jerk, he is bond to get angry easily because it's his character, but he is by no mean a rude or evil. He is KIND. Like...REALLY KIND, not like some bad guy that SOMETIMES shows a little kindess and because of that gap you think he is kind: he is really kind in the most real way. He comes to help everytime, like that's something really natural and obvious to do, it's not like he give that many thoughts (and that's how a kind person behawes and think). Mature but simple, normal and weird at the same time (the "fanservice time" have two purpose: showing some abs to the readers and showing his obliviousness, wich is kin of cute). I just love this 2D so much, it's the first time... (another one I like very much is Hak from Alatsuki no Yona, but Hak is a little more complicated guy)

Hi, I'm a nurse working in a unit with people with spinal chord injuries. I really love this manga, it's good even in the medical aspects (the fact about pressure ulcer is true... even if the place in wich the ulcer came when you stay too much on the wheelchair is different).
I also wanna say something about not stay with a person after he became paraplegic. it's a very heavy decision and responsability and if you are young sometimes you can't take that. It's a life long commitment and, BELIVE ME, it's really difficult. You have to manually pull pee and poo out every day (pee every 6 hours), you have to check the skin every day, wash the body all over everyday, you can't have sex in the normal way and so many other things.
in this case it was the boy who was against it, but anyway...
true love is a beautiful word but reality of love is make of compromises and sometimes you choose a different life, IT'S SOMEONE RIGHT CHOOSING
I will stay with my husband, but I don't wanna judge people who don't. Please understand.

Ok I read many comments and this is my idea: Sangwood lived something similar, his family was fucked up and I think there was some violence too; he responded to it in a violent way, because that is how THAT personality of his copied with that situation. In that sense, it's clear why he reacted like that to Bum solution (the opposite). In Sangwoo mind you have only one way to escape an horrific situation, and that's not autolesionism or sacrifice himself.
Bumpersonality because tends to don't take action, that's a fact Sangwoo hate because Sangwoo thinks you choose how to live, you don't make life happening to you. If you think about it that is the thing that make Sangwoo angry almost everytime: when Bum is too scared, when Bum don't take action, when Bum don't take care of the consequences etc.
on the other hand Bum is too much of a delicate soul to stand up for himself or getting revenge of people who abuses him: he just think he deserve it..
Bum's gentle soul unfortunately have a fucked up mind because of all the tragedy in his life, while the tragedy in Sangwoo's life made him a clever and brave mind in a dark soul.
Result: psychiatric 'n' many pills needed
