I feel for trashta a bit, living as a slave clearly was hard on her, and she's not wrong for trying to find a way to live better. Any person would. She did manage to do that though, she became an emperor's mistress. Certainly her position does depend on his whims, but she would already be living well by then. Isn't that enough? You have no need to covet for more, you have fine dresses and jewelry, a roof over your head and you eat and sleep well.

So I guess it was and wasn't the balcony scene? Since it wasn't, I'm satisfied. More like just Kael kinda misunderstanding the situation, but I hope the original scene will still happen.
Moving on, Diana sure is hypocritical. She claims that Hestia is using Kael for her own ends and assuming that she was right, then what about herself?
I think it's not. Probably just a build-up for what will happen (if it will follow the novel)
The thing is, Diana is so narcissistic and so keyed into the fact that she's a chosen Saint and, in her mind, mouthpiece of god that she believes in every fiber of her being that she could do no wrong. She has this messianic thought that she deserves all the praise, adoration, acknowledgement, and 100% faith of those around her that Hestia's denial of her infuriates her to no end. To Hestia, she's nothing but human who has nothing but self-entitlement going for her. To that end, Diana will never apologize cos in her mind, she has nothing to apologize for. She really doesn't get it. Hestia's the interloper. Hestia made everything go wrong. Diana will NEVER change that mindset.
Nevermind that everybody but the church is finally seeing her for what she is.
People complaining that she doesn't have character development. For real tho, not everyone goes thru growth. Sometimes, there are just people who refuse to see beyond their own boundaries.
Yeah, I don't think she'll ever be able to see things from Hes's standpoint. My sole hope for her at this point is that she will at least realize that no matter what, she was the cause of Kael's wish to die and there's no loopholes or alternate explanation.
Damn right. She's being an hypocrite.
Can you tell me about the original scene you're talking about?
Spoilers below
After Kael takes Hestia's plan to the meeting, the temple (and Diana) are facing huge amounts of backlash, with nobles taking the situation to ask for Diana to step down. Kael is super important at this point, since he's a duke, but he chooses to stay neutral. At some point though, he'd decide to have Diana stay as crown princess and tells Hestia that he plans on telling the nobles to stop protesting. Hestia is absolutely crushed, and when Kael gets home, he sees that Hestia is sitting on the balcony rails and assumes the worst. At the time, Hestia mentions that she's tired of everything and wants to go home to Korea, and isn't actually thinking of death. Kael has no way of knowing that though, and rushed to her room, to the balcony and pulls her off. He cries into her shoulders.
And after that it comes the snusnu
