to be honest the main story was great, i loved it so much. but the side stories… the reincarnation bit i’m totally fine with but why did the author have to make them meet and fall in love when beom was still a minor… that gave me the ick but other than that no other complaints, i like a story where the couple falls in love early on so we get to see a lot of them in love.
i understand all too well that feeling of wanting to be your partner’s only one but aware that it cannot be like that. it’s unhealthy, even if they’re your only one in the world, that feeling of loneliness eats you up slowly. wish they would just communicate but it’s never that easy huh.
jinwoo is clearly remembering, not making up a memory..? idk how some of you came to that conclusion when everything aligned with the first chapter. guwon killed his dad. full stop. you can still like a character you can’t defend, he’s such an interesting character, so i still like him.
i can’t take guwon seriously sometimes like how is he giggling and blushing in front of all this
it was cute and all but the end really ruined it for me, just how little trust is there for them to have those thoughts and not talking about it at all…

i don’t care if you wrote the story, the jaeyi i know would never rape anyone. it was just too out of character… i can’t believe this.
man rik matured a lot i’m so happy for him for finding his own family and for finally reuniting with his mom as well. i’m glad we’re heading back to the main story though i missed everyone a lot :’)

everything jinhyeong went through hit way too close to home, from the feeling of “others have it much harder than me”, to dropping out, to being home-bound. it actually gave me some hope that maybe one day, like jinhyeong, i’ll finally be able to get back on my feet and meet good people, possibly even find love. i’m so glad the two of them finally talked through it, jinhyeong apologising, and song-rik admitting he wasn’t the only one hurting. i really wish they’d stay in contact… i guess we’ll find out in the next chapter or two.
i was gonna say i’m so glad they finally talked but man teenagers really don’t know any better (also glad jinhyeong defended himself but went a bit too far, different person same mistake huh) once again i can’t blame either of them for saying what they said cuz when you’re heartbroken like that anything can come out of your mouth even if you didn’t mean it, even if you didn’t meant for it to be THAT painful. hurt people really do hurt people.
i understand rik’s pain i really do, but does he realise jinhyeong’s response at the door was still a reflection of his trauma, not something he’s fully aware of, that even though he despises his father, it’s really not that easy to let go of parents that treat him THIS inconsistently. bad mouthing him and ignoring his pain, then hugging and telling they’re proud of him. does he know physical violence/abandonment isn’t “more” than verbal and emotional abuse, it fucks with the child’s brain and makes it so so so much harder to detach themselves from their abuser(s). you cannot blame a child for not wanting to cut all ties with their parents you really just can’t. whilst some have a clear cut moment of “oh.”, some still ruminate their feelings towards their parents, especially financially privileged kids, since they go to a good school, have food, and a roof over their head it must be better than nothing, right? these thoughts are enough to tug on their hearts and have some hopes about their abusive parents.
anyways my point is rik was being rather selfish at that moment, deciding to project his pain onto the person he misunderstood, without even explaining why he was so upset. from how jinhyeong not mentioning rik until uyun brought it up, i doubt their story ended well. part of me wants them to makeup in the future but let’s not have too high of expectations, people grow apart, that’s part of life unfortunately. i’m just glad jinhyeong found someone he loves that loves him back, after all that has happened.
