I'm glad that Nao didn't end up with Hayate. I didn't want it to be that "I never thought of you as my brother," along with "I want you but you're my brother (step) so I can't have you, and I'm pissed off about out it so I'm going to treat you badly, and rub all the girls I bring home in your face" trope. And then he gets all ticked off and possessive after he finds out Nao is interested in another Senpai? Finally someone who deservedly gets to wallow in his missed opportunity. And I think Nao and Senpai's personalities compliment each other, filling a need that can't be found elsewhere.
totally disagree. im a total hayate fan. hope he gets a realy sweet uke now. i dun like akagis personality. but since hayate was rly stupid to wait so long...well .s.h.i.t happens. wonder why that last guy in towas gang didnt have his story now.

If you like senseless cheating, read anything from this mangaka. She incorporates it into almost all her stories. Even if the couples are in love, either one or both of them having sex with other people is pretty much a given.
true dat. her storyd nearly always include cheating, switching (generally 90% is sex, some of the stories whole plot is about fucking lol), rape and something twisted (like incest)
there are a few stories i hate-like, but after awhile it's just repetitive and i get srsly mad at the characters lol.

Chap 6, his mom made him things "with love" but she walks out on him as a young boy? Not love at all. I noticed this is a common theme in manga too, women cold hearted enough to leave their kids behind.
We don't know why she left...? And leaving a child behind is not always cold-hearted. Sometimes it's done FOR the child. Also, women can have ambivalent feelings about their children just like men may do. It's not their fault any more than the men's that they can't connect to their children. Alrighty?
My point was that they portrayed her as a warm loving mother and then the next thing she's walking out on him, and that it's a common theme in manga, being abandoned by parents in such cold-hearted ways. Nothing much deeper than that. I've seen a lot of parents in my 48 years, from down-right shitty to over-the-top spoil mongers, so I'm quite aware of the myriad relationship possibilities between parent and child. Alrighty?
