Something else on my mind: If Rash (whatever) became Empress, would she even know how to do that job? The current Empress was trained since young and is loved by many. If the Emperor who divorced the well loved Empress to marry his Concubine who doesn't have a solid background - how would the citizens & even political relations react? Smiles and fake tears can only take you so far. To run a whole palace & run a country is way out of your League girly. She doesn't know how to write properly and doesn't even show common manners to other royal members. One day she's gonna slip & insult another royal member from another country & then political war happens. O gosh. You can't fake cry yourself out of that.

Maybe they thought of it as people being against anything different since ABO would not have been the original normal for everyone (as well as gay relationships) so it gives the romance a level of drama and you get two people trying to overcome adversity and going against the odds to be together.

Idk man. In webtoons like this, the MF is always, kinda useless. In this case it looks like she just caught onto an opportunity to get stronger. But starting to develop feelings for him. I just can't ~vibe~ with it. She basically said out loud, I saw all the bullying & wanted to help. (So why didn't you? You're the 2nd most powerful in the school. What would you have to lose helping the weakest? Your time?) I get why a lot of ppl don't like her. She didn't have empathy for him before he 'died'. But flipped her 'attracted to' switch when it would benefit her.

so, i kind find her better than most because of that. she is greedy for the information and is openly saying so (and i hope she stays as so, and keep focusing on her desire to learn). she isn't forcing or manipulating him, only being annoying and asking. she begun treating him like someone else, because she has been seeing someone else on him, which actually makes sense.

I gotta agree with you there. She's way better than most female leads in webtoons like this. Only cause she Has her own power etc. Man, Harems really do ruin a lot in webtoons cause dick is all they want in life & then ultimately become weaknesses for the ML. When that starts to happen in mangas I automatically drop cause its so painful to read.
In this case tho, I think why most ppl don't like her -is like what you said, she's Annoying & greedy. What I see for myself is that she's reaping benefits that she doesn't deserve. You know? She is basically A side character & witness to something horrible but when she sees something different she wants to grab the opportunity. The ML really doesn't Care but seeing the MF annoy him until he gives up & brings her along is just - why??? It certainly gives more of a feel like she's going to chase after him to learn more from his as a student seeing him as a teacher rather than a love interest. He's into older ladies since he's mentally in his 50's xD

i see it as what it is. a grandpa teaching some random little and slightly talented girl and i hope the author keep as that (and to not make it sound like she deserves it for being that much better or pretty or perfect or destined).
from ML side there is no specific reason to not involve himself. as he wasn't the one being bullied and he doesn't sound like some high saint/hero, keeper of shaky high ground morals. i don't find it conflicting for him to not care either, since there is no connection anymore between the body he is using and the people the dead soul cared about. the original soul backstory is too lonely and he died in such a way: a clear cut on his relation to the world. the guy had nothing and gained nothing. i don't see as positive someone taking his body either, the poor thing lived and died miserably. so how could mc doing anything else right now make the poor bullied to death guy life/death better? how much mc pays back for the body has more to do with mc feeling better about using the body than paying the dead guy. and i don't think mc cares much about that either, as he didn't even search the bullies of the guy's family... the clash as due to the repeated bullying and not because mc was trying to teach anyone anything.
so while i find her very selfish, i don't think that would be a reason for him to care. how empty would such judgment be? like do we research people past to decide if we would be friendly or not? if they were a passive piece of shit would we decide to ignore or avoid any kind of exchange? would MC then go around talking only to people he deems as proactive? would he only save those who "deserve it". this is a slippery black hole... unfortunately. it is very easy to fall into a false sense of rightness.
this shows a bit of how shitty things can be, but i would be surprised if mc actually cared that she didn't help before. also, the irony that if she helped the guy before, mc would still be sealed... idk if the author thought that much, but the conflict is actually interesting lol.
also, for last, note that she got there rn by annoying her way there and because she is not so trash in the school. if she wasn't teachable, i don't think mc would even tried and if she wasn't annoying mc wouldn't even care to notice... and if she was like everyone here mentioned, she wouldn't have had the chance to learn anything. how annoyingly consistent -_- i wonder how the author will develop this, and if the readers he has direct contact to are annoyed too. hopefuly it is a bit less boring than the average story.
