I don’t know if Lynn is evil or not, but I can’t help but think if she’s purposely acting naive. Like her entire maids are out of control. Yes she can’t possibly control all of them but it’s like she’s choosing to turn a blind eye to their shenanigans. It’s to the point that *SPOILER* San lang had the nerve to kill a consort all in the name of helping Lynn.
And Lynn swears san Lang is innocent even after knowing damn well the empress wouldn’t lie or frame an “innocent” person. Yes she’s been with San lang for a long time, but it’s like I said, i think she’s choosing to be naive.
Also from the recent chapters, it seems like she’s more jealous of those two being together, rather than being jealous that the empress is hanging out with the emperor.

Also, if you know the kdrama “The Glory” that was based on real life events (not revenge, but bullying aspect). Furthermore, if I’m not wrong, bullying is the first or second main cause for suicides among youth in SK. Keep in mind South Korea also has the highest suicide rates in the world (people just idealize Korea so much they often refuse to accept any criticism or issues with it).
And if u wanna see just how bad law system is (aside from drugs maybe) read about ”Burning Sun” or “Nth Chat Room” cases. Literal sex trafficking/torture with little no none punishment. Or tbh any sex crimes related cases.
