I am pretty sure that he had other things going on in his life that they didn't mention in the manga. Also something to note is that their relationship wasn't a healthy one. If I am not mistaken they didn't even make it official. And Yuki was drunk so maybe he just wasn't thinking straight and felt like ending things. You know like when you're really really down and you just want to be left alone kinda way. Hope that kinda helped? Idk I'm really bad at explanations lol
