seeing the comments, it seems like it’s just me that found the translation unbearable. i barely understood what was happening and it felt like i was missing things because one minute this was happening and the next it’s a whole different situation. i was confused. it started off cute but somewhere along the way became more and more confusing
this was really cute but I’m ngl, it was confusing as fuck. there was too many jump cuts to flashbacks in the middle of random episodes and they weren’t like usual flashbacks that turn to black to let you know it’s not current or even a thought that signifies it going into a flashback. but anyway. still interesting.
on another note, the whole time i was hoping Hyun laid eggs for Ivan and had babies but then i remembered it wasn’t that sorta comic. which sob
tbh i hate when they try to explain away the assault. like “i did it because —“ like bitch if you were given an ultimatum between giving your “lover” to some sicko and a gang r*pe and you don’t choose to just completely remove yourself and your love from the situation then you’re a full on dickhead. like nah fuck the ex. i didn’t give a damn about his side of things they could have left it at him being a dickhead instead of trying to make the reader sympathetic to him because of his “reasoning”
Okay so i ended up dropping this around chapter 17...tbh it was cute at first but first of all the misunderstanding was outrageous.. if you’re getting cheated on, and the first thing you do is leave without talking or asking questions, then in my eyes you were just itching for a reason to leave anyway. secondly, that misunderstanding should have really only lasted one chapter if not at most five because all that needed to happen was his friend telling him outright to get his head out of his ass and listen. anyway aside from all that, Siwon? yeah first time I’ve ever hated a shou in a comic/manga. like, he was only concerned about himself and from the very beginning you could tell that he wasn’t as into his partner as his partner was into him.
He stopped caring about his partners job, his feelings and he so easily tossed out all the couple items they had..yeah anyway i really couldn’t get over him. the last straw was how he seemed so ungrateful about the party he had thrown for him and how he seems to be just leading Yoosung by the nose. the misunderstanding was cleared yet he still didn’t even apologize or take him back? nor does he even say i love you back to him. overall, i think author was trying to make Siwon seem like the cold tsundere type but really he just seemed like he dodnt actually love yoosung.
yeah siwon really bothered me. he treated his relationship like it was a chore and he DID run away the first chance he got when yoonsung *appeared* to do one thing wrong in 8 years. he never really learned anything besides doing the bare minimum and even then he kept taking out his embarrassment on his partner

I loved that this was so soft yet so scary at the same time. i enjoyed the act of r*pe actually being condemnable instead of a means to get the mc and ml to fall for each other. and I’m happy that the ml actually wanted to take revenge for him. there was a lot of nonsensical problematic points but at the end of the day, it was still pretty good
