I think I’m not the only one who felt like something was wrong with him. I think he was obsessed and violent with Evelyn. It’s him who made those scars on her back. Even tho the story makes us think it was the cousin. Evelyn said that people around her died because of her but I believe Rowen is the one who killed them to have power and Evelyn.
But there’s still doubts…

For me it was pretty obvious that MC comes from a very loved environment, as the youngest, he is loved and spoiled by everyone which is why he’s the way he is, very bright, naive and oblivious. His mother isn’t sad because he’s gay but what might happen to her kind, bright, naive, generous son once everybody knows it. Because we live in a homophobic society. A society where differences are discriminated…
