
this chapter made me mad and upset for taehee.
i really felt this chapter being a child of immigrants and growing up in america. having grown up with latino culture but it being in America makes the bridge between you and other people very obvious, and they love to mention how much of something you are. it’s very obvious the cultural disconnect between u and others who live here but weren’t born here. especially when you do know your mother tongue but it feels like it’s not enough. the not being enough of one or the other is something that feels very heavy. I feel like other poc kids who grew up here and have immigrant parents can sympathize with this, were made to choose sides a lot when we don’t need to.
i loved this so much fuck it was so sweet!!! everything was nice I love bls that portray realistic relationships :)
really loved the part were he thought his boyfriend was cute because he reminded him of the mimosa pudica plant so adorable!!!
