No this isn't Stockholm Syndrome because it doesn't fit the definition. If I had a dollar for every time I heard the phrase 'it's just fiction' I'd be a millionaire. Even though that statement is categorically not true. I presume you're not fictional. The writer certainly isn't. And the story is based on personal life experiences, not drawn out of thin air, so it most certainly isn't either. So your assumptions remain exactly that.
If this were 'just fiction' you wouldn't see rape in here, AT ALL, not the other way around. If this were 'just fiction' then there wouldn't be parallels drawn in different settings to the contemporary writings of the day, such as old westerns depicting more misogynistic overtones.

BDSM has nothing to do with this. This story is fiction, whether it was “based” off of real life or not, and whether it can happen in real life. Manga, and especially yaoi, should not be compared to real life. People can make fiction that’s based off of the real world. That’s what fiction is... Saying that a MANGA is not fiction is ridiculous. ITS A STORY.

There are no multiple versions, there are only stories that are intertwined. The fact that Rogi raped the son is still true though. It all starts with this one (only the first chapter): Minori no Te, followed by this: Yondaime Ooyamato Tatsuyuki (the story of Akitora's son) and now we get Jealousy to know about Rogi's past. I gotta say though...I hate Rogi~
