Alot of ppl saying ‘a adult man shouldn’t react like that to a simple horror movie’, I as a adult woman am honestly scared ***tless when watching a horrormovie, not everyone is build for that. Also I don’t find it strange that he still can objectively see/say that he finds the ml attractive, unfortunately just bc someone has treated u like sh** doesn’t always magically make some feelings go away (and he also cant get away since the whole situationship)
If you don't mind me asking how old are you? Bc he's supposed to be 24/26 or sth like that and is CRYING. Like i get being caught off guard by jumpscares and stuff like that but CRYING??
Girlll im 24 too, and obviously its a manga and the author is exaggerating a bit for the scene. But I think hiding and being jumpy is quite normal if you really can’t handle gore and/or jumpscares.

I think no one finds it normal, but it is actually very realistic for ppl that are in a toxic relationship that even if they can acknowledge that its harmful and bad that they still find the partner attractive or atleast can view them as handsome etc.
Yes the story does have some sides that have a undertone, but its very important to note these are SIDES. And play in different scenarios just as the last chapter where they were student and teacher and they clearly didnt know eachother before that. Its also quite common for young kids to look up to there dad and find him cool, handsome etc. Y’all are tweaking and making it way bigger then it is. Also big shocker but; if your uncomfortable reading a story, don’t read it. No one is forcing u to enjoy something u dont, but dont spoil it for the people that can clearly see that it doesnt (not the in the main story where he raises him) has a link to thay.
I really like the story and the characters (yes they were both a little frustrating at times but it was realistic seeing there trauma). I honestly thought there needed to be more actual conversations and moments were they were bonding and forming a relationship. Most of the time it felt like they didn’t truely knew one another bc they only had some conversations while doing the deed. Like they didn’t show enough shared memories and actually building something?
