Wtf is this story even? We get HALF a chapter which shows Miles trying to win the ML over (yes the story says 3 years but for the reader its way to short to get into the story when he’s doing a complete 180 by the end of ONE chapter). Als the ML catches feelings as soon as he gives up; no leading reason, no explanation, no situation happening? You mean to tell me all it took for him to fall in love was him not buying his breakfast and skipping lunch for once in 3 years made him fall in love? Also 0 realism that the whole world in the story is gay? Also Miles just all of a sudden overnight became a baddie with all the selfrespect? I usually never drop anything but this literally had me cooking a couple chapters in.

The way the ML is portrait it’s as someone who is very clever, but somehow this man couldn’t sit down and think that communication was there biggest issue. Man lacking emotional intelligence even in fiction

Its about power dynamics. For all his talk about being equals and loving Geol, in his heart it never was and still isnt true. He was born wealthy and used his power to subjugate, demand, and even forcibly take from geol because there is no consequence for crossing his boundaries.
Unlike him geol also very aware of the imbalance and despite being forgiving and affectionate by nature he cant bring himself to even bother because he is extremely insecure.
Its basically a recipe for disaster the MC didnt understand stems not from an inability a Geol to love him back, but that he will never love him back because any semblance of a relationship they have was built by denying geol agency and autonomy in every way shape and form. Hes still using his power to control Geol with the delusion he can give him a high status and everything will be solved when he cant even fathom lowering himself or meeting Geol half way letting him be an equal partner.
Tldr: mc is power drunk and doesnt realize you cant be a boss in a relationship and if he wanted geols love he should have sought it out organically and just listened

I partly agree that in his past life he didn’t even have to think about what Geol wanted because he could just take it with force (bc of there relationship dynamic), but in the current world as the MC is trying to better himself he still shows that he didn’t learn from his past mistakes in their ‘relationship’.
In this new relationship he tries to somehow win him over, but to do that he first of all had to sit and reflect on the past and see where the defaults are. That’s why I still think that he lacks in many ways as to see where it went wrong. To see that communication was there biggest issue would also show him that Geol could never truely open up or say what he wanted to say (also bc of status but also bc of the person he is). The ML has also never expressed to Geol what Geol actually means to him and what he wants from him. I think a good long conversation could be a good start instead of whatever they are doing rn.

Idc what anyway says about them being a bad match. Realistically speaking if they hadn’t met Kim Dan would still be working shit jobs, and still lose his grandma. He himself accepted the offer he had been given. Yeah Jaehyung wasn’t always the best, but at the end of the day he accepted the offer. He got the money he needed and Jaehyung got the physical benefit. Is he the nicest person, no. But does he keep the end of his deal: absolutely.
People act like they had a relationship and he treated him like shit, no they had a deal which they both benefited from. That they are developing feelings now is something entirely different. And you can only judge him for his character after they start a relationship not what they had back when they made a deal for their own reasons. So I do think they are a good match.

Honestly, people just think jaekyung as a rapist and never saw how much he helped Dan when he didn't have too. Just like how Dan had the option to refuse the deal but was obliged by his poverty and jaekyung isn't responsible for his poverty and others, but he still helped Dan just like Dan fulfilled jaekyung desires. ,Although there were violence but their personalities are so earth sky different and that's what make them a good couple for me personally. Jaekyung may not be nice, but he stilll fulfilled all what Dan asked and even more than that and also tried to encourage Dan to think about himself instead of others, on the chapter where he wore glasses i think. Anyways i don't think jaekyung needs that hellish suffering, he already got it, but its time for their relationship to improve and nothing else.

Right!! Everyone keeps saying it is rape, but the actual term is prostitution. Jaekyung offered him money for sex and he took the deal, it’s actually as simple as that.
Dan is a adult and can make his own decisions which the terms of his decisions are based on doesn’t change this perspective. People act like Jaekyung forced Kim Dan to do it, but in actuality he proposed a offer and Kim agreed to it. So yes, it is consensual then.
Also agree with the whole suffering thing, ofcourse he should reflect on what he did because let’s face it he really wasn’t the nicest dude around. But that doesn’t mean he has to be dragged to hell and back, because at the end of the day he did what he said he would offer: money, a place to stay and a easier life. And he wasn’t all bad to him (in flashbacks you also saw them having alot of fun in moments that weren’t portrayed in the manga just as playing board games etc.). I think they just need some quality time together and be honest and good to eachother

Damn this story was crazy, it was truly a rollercoaster. I do think they are a good match in the end but it surely didn’t feel like that for most of the time. I’m just shocked by how brutally the black haired guy had raped him (I do wonder tho if a man is that drunk if your also a man thats not that drunk can’t you just beat him up?), but they also hint in the story that eventhough the blond haired guy was traumatized by it he was also a little happy because he was held by him in that way (so was he putting on a full fight?) idk those parts just threw me off a little hence the story was based on revenge. But somewhere I also get it bc it’s usually also way more complex irl.

I mean I think part of the reason Utsumi is extremely mad at Akahime is that Akahime raped him then completely forgot him the next day. Then, seeing the one he loves happy with someone for the next 6 years without even remembering what happened between the two of them makes him feel that hatred and resentment towards him. Sort of jealousy + resentment + hatred + love under all of it.

The comments are bashing Yeonwoo like crazy, what bothers me about this is that a couple chapters back when he was clingy and obsessed it was all ‘lovely and so cute’ but when it takes a more serious turn he is suddenly the bad guy. Yes obsessive personalities come with their flaws of also being extremely insecure and anxious, there is a reason why someone is obsessive and it doesn’t come out a romantic corner. Obsessive personalities are almost always linked with anxiety and flaws, that’s why it is abnormal behavior, just because we as a generation have glamorized it doesn’t mean that that isn’t still the definition of obsession.
He is clearly not mentally stable because of his past relationships and because he got isolated for so long. Trying to hold someone accountable and bashing someone who is mentally ill (and even making fun of him??) just shows how much people still need to be educated on illnesses (not by what you read online in fanfics what a obsession is, but in actual psychology),
Long story short: leave my lil boy Yeonwoo alone he trying his best.
Me, as a very much red-flag liking person, did really not like the ML. Don’t get me wrong I usually really like a little competition, but this just felt wrong, mainly because the competition was his own baby brother. It’s crazy to me how far he took it and the way he spoke/treated his little brother. A partner could always be temporary but your brother (especially in this story where the ML himself raised him and they clearly have a tight relationship) is forever. Idk it just felt so wrong to Jiseok.
