Can someone who has a good handle on the plot explain the beginning for me? I understand that her soul was split in two and that her Korean body could see the future but I don’t understand why she keeps referring to a novel. We see her when she’s a child talking to her friend and writing a book. Is that the book she’s always talking about? The one that she herself wrote? Is the book and the future the Korean version of herself she saw different?
Does she think that by writing the novel she herself changed the future?
I’m just so incredibly confused if anybody can help me understand.
So she wrote a book in her original life as the Korean girl. She ended up being transmigrated into this world when she got into an accident that left her in a coma. She retained all memories of the mage’s life because she inhabited the body from the beginning. She wrote the books events to be quite tragic so that the ending would feel more interesting and satisfying but when she got into the universe of the book, she realised that all those “characters” were real people and she ruined their lives and in particular a little baby boy’s life was ruined. She couldn’t handle that so she’s doing her all to look after him.
Now that she’s doing things differently to change the ultimate outcome of the story she wrote so that Claude can be happy and healthy and well adjusted, things have changed and the story she wrote no longer exists. She’s now doing everything for the first time but she’s still anticipating that things from the story can come up. That’s why she’s always thinking ahead about stuff.

Those are one and the same. The future she is referencing is the novel she wrote in Korea. She is the character of the mage but she is originally the author of the book that created all the characters. She talks about the future as if it’s separate NOW because it is. The world she lives in no longer follows the plot of the novel since she made so many changes.

I can't say for certain what will happen in those 5 years except the fact she has a child this is all info from a commentor who read the novel the manhwa might change it if you go back enough you might find there comment but they commented near season 1 so idk how back you need to go cuz they went into basically an outline of the 5 years in the novel
