This chapter was soooo goood. Was it just me or did Hayden’s alpha-ness just amplified by like 5 times, he looked so good and tall this chapter I was giggling
There’s smtn to be said with Brett and his Ex, Emma, but it’s hard to fully interpret what they’re saying for me personally. I think the snow metaphor is interesting, smtn along the lines of “when you look at the snow, you’ll see your face and realized you’re excited” with Hayden, maybe showing that Brett did feel the same way with Hayden back in their Christmas date, but he couldn’t recognize that feeling (which seems in line). But it’s kinda hard to say since the MTL sucks . Like the difference he treats Emma and Hayden though, you can see his different personalities come to play, said in another comment below.
Also the shoe scene where Brett is stepping on Hayden, probably going way too deep but I like the difference in their socks lol. Brett covered all the way, long socks while Hayden has short ankle socks on. Hayden in the end being more open, more vulnerable and Brett closed off. But it’s also just a nice juxtaposition lol.
The ending where Brett says,”Pinch my nipples harder, coward” oh I SCREAMMED oh they truly haven’t changed a bit haven’t they.

If I was Sunwoo’s friend, I would actually smack the shit out of him for the ending of this story. Look I came into this book knowing him and Sion would be endgame. I knew that. So tell me why they did I wanted to bang my head into the wall.

But that does not account for outing, isolating, gaslighting the shit outta Sunwoo in retaliation. Purposely making Sunwoo go into a depression as long as he stood by your side and pussy out once he thought of killing himself. Sion’s biggest sin is being a coward. Having no trust in Sunwoo and becoming obsessed. Sunwoo was right, what he was doing wasn’t love.
But Sunwoo. Sunwoo. You say all of this. You’re the one who ended it in the end. YOU’RE the one who suffered the most. You left. AND YOURE TELLING ME YOU STILL WANT THIS ASSHOLE BACKKK???? I would have less gripes with this kind of ending if the time skip was longer after they made their promise to wait for each other to be fine with Sunwoo not wanting to have a future with Sion (confusing I know). But then you skip like 2-3 months after the fact? No??? I wanted years nothing happens in a few months to make everything right again no. So frustrating man, especially since I love Sunwoo so much it’s like one of your closest friends get back with her toxic EX, it’s actually so frustrating.
