Uh this arc is actually a bittersweet experience for Aeroc, but he will be still happy, despite the bad things. He ends up with Clough, the problem is the imprinting, it affects them both. Clough grows more obsesses with Aeroc… while Aeroc turns into an omega because his body recognizes his alpha.
Clough will find out about Aeroc being an omega and start this relationship by coercion, he literally makes Aeroc accept that they will get married. It’s his obsession and imprinting manifesting itself, he realizes that he can’t live without Aeroc, it literally will kill him.. he vomits blood and he growing more violent and angry without Aeroc by his side. Aeroc accepts this unfortunate situation because he wants to have his six kids back, seeing Clough is actually serious about being his partner this time.
He wants a chance to be a mom to his six kids…
Clough will grow in this relationship because he realizes his partner is unstable, ptsd is making it difficult for Aeroc to sometimes distinguish reality from dream. So Clough has to make a support system for his omega, it’s his one redeeming quality, he works hard to always ease and soothe Aeroc. He doesn’t really ask why he’s like that. He instead makes Aeroc feel more love, hoping that by doing this, his partner will be more stable and happy. Which did help… you can see the insecurities but Clough really will make an effort to give Aeroc and their kids a good life.

Thank you for this. I’ve been contemplating dropping this manga as I feel to much pity for Aeroc( yes, I know he caused the death of raphiel in the first Arc but a hould we suffer for eternity for one bad mistake. I think not) now I can patiently read this without the constant heartache.

It’s just a tough pill to swallow. But the story is really good. The novel is a lot farther and something I recommend… they took a lot of things out of the manhwa. But if you're having a tough time with s1… vol 1 is a lot more painful to read.. so proceed to vol 2 but please read it from chap vol 2 chap 1… the beginning of that was actually got me come back and read this story.
How Clough described the aftermath of Aeroc’s death was hauntingly beautiful… the pain of surviving alone in hell was gut wrenching. He even talks about the twins who were born addicted because of Aeroc’s pain killer addiction…
