the name of the manhwa being "into the horizon" and the cover art showing sunbae positioned above hanjoo as if he's the light (the horizon) and jihyun is postioned in the dark makes me think the endgame ml is gonna be sunbae despite everything... deep sighs. praying i'm just reading too much into it.

letting you all know now that the endgame is shinje (which is kind of obvious but still). don't get your hopes up about the others going anywhere beyond sex (though one of the guys does actually have a crush on the mc by the end of the novel—which he lets go since the mc ends up with shinje).

Shinje is the leader of Erewhon and the male lead (white-blond hair, pale skin, incredibly beautiful according to the novel, pretty messed up because of the torture he’s endured since he was “born” but learned about humanity after getting away from the academy and can pass for being somewhat normal lol, S class, has telekinesis and was specifically *made* to defeat Almuten). He’s in love with Yugeon.
Taein is Shinje’s right hand man in the team (dark hair, always wearing gloves, terse, A class, has corrosive touch… iirc). He has a kind of weird relationship with Yugeon because Yugeon (and all guides) remind him of his sister. I wouldn’t say he had a crush on Yugeon but rather that he felt guilty and also protective in a way because of his past… but you could choose to believe that he has a crush in the comic if you want. It’s kind of ambiguous.
Chan is a member of the team (dark hair, tanned skin, is the most “well-adjusted” of them all since he didn’t awaken until much later, brash, S class, can shapeshift into animals). Chan is the one who has a crush on Yugeon (he admits it), but Yugeon doesn’t reciprocate it. I wanna point out that the sooner you awaken, the less human you really are. So if you notice Chan behaving kind of like a normal guy at times, that’s why. He didn’t awaken until he was in his late teens iirc.
Heesu is the final member of the team (honey-blond hair, smaller than the others, loves sweets and food, probably the most twisted since he awoke very early and has never even tried to act human, A class iirc, has mind control abilities). There is zero chance he actually had a crush on Yugeon. I don’t even think he’s capable of it.
No. Chan (the one in the recent chapters who takes Yugeon to watch the game) is the one who has a crush on him. Taein (the gloves guy) never admits to any real feelings in the novel iirc. Personally, I don’t think what he felt for Yugeon was anything truly romantic, BUT it’s a little more ambiguous with him and if you wanna believe it you definitely can.
