The comments do it too, when is it enough? She is so freaking judged on every decision. She can’t win even when she wins. I love the Fl but I’m starting to really hate this story and peoples reactions to it too. It’s a story where there is no winning and people seem to blame the Fl for it. It’s exhausting. How much harder should she try? Hm, maybe I need a break from this story lol. Until it ends
I agree, I have been bingeing today and really she escaped TWICE.. She was young and naive, but once she got a wake up call she's been trying to escape his clutches and I don't think she's dumb. Sometime poor plot devices make her seem that , but she's not. ofc we know she'll end up with the Duke, is just hope he suffers enough to make it work it to me.
It feels like the story itself is just against her. I think she is doing extremely well considering how much her universe hates her. What can she do? She is keeping her son safe and trying to fight back. I too hope he suffers more because he doesn’t deserve a happy ending
Well, if the story isn't against her, we won't be having a story at all.
But still yeah, she's always been cornered, she can't win/free herself from this. Maybe the author should step back abit. It's like she's fighting a war she can never win.
I know, it makes sense that it’s all going this way but it so forceful.
It’s their story but it might be easier to take if they stayed separate longer and we got to see her actually recover more an even feel peaceful for a bit and see the duke suffer and actually regret before they met again.

Well at least, yes she did escape twice but I think what most people are mad about is the fact that they are still going to end up together, and to me I honestly dislike them both. How is she still in love with him after everything that happened I would have preferred a complete rejection or his death/she kills him or he gets tortured. Because its obvious he hasn't changed still a piece of shit, but no matter what she still loves him. To toxic at this point, ideal ending to me at least is that he suffers her loss forever and she lives happily with her son doesn't have to be together with anyone but sadly this toxic relationship is going to happen regardless and that is just sad and frustrating. To each their own i guess, but she needs more self-love/respect.
It truly is toxic. Unfortunately, that's what's happening to some in real life. I can't say I know what's to be in one toxic relationship. Trying to get away, but ultimately ending up together again. What most readers don't like is how it's too realistic for a fiction story. I for one wouldn't know what to do if I'm in her shoes. What she needs is maybe more enlightenment? Or more supporters? Or that one moment, to open her eyes and see that this is not it. (づ￣ ³￣)づ
Agree, at least if it was me I could never forgive him, in fact the 1st moment he started treating her bad, not take her side and then brings another girl into the picture, nah I would've been done and left him from the start, never be 2nd choice. If only this story wasn't heading into the bad ending i would have loved it, sadly I can only give it 2stars. ╥﹏╥
