For the people down there fighting in the comments. I'm one of the weirdos who finished the story because I wanted a chasing arc. But it was not satisfying. Better read danmei novels than these stuff. And I'm gonna be honest, the author seems to hate her bottom male mcs. She seem to like seeing them raped and tortured. This was the work I've read after the GL side story. So better avoid reading her stories if you can't handle it better yet to drop it.

Not gonna lie I think his like for the ml went from platonic to romantic after the hypnotism + sexual assault. It made him see the ml in romantic light because of the sexual acts ml did while he was hypnotized, he started having dreams of it too.
Before the hypnotism, I think mc still liked him romantically. During the hypnotism, I presume before they started doing sexual acts, he said he liked Kakine. The dreams were obviously when he was under hypnotism which probably intensified his feelings and lust. ml still shouldn’t have sexually assaulted kakine though :(
