I genuinely don't get how he can sit down and have a meal with or be easily persuaded to go see a movie with a man who had his friend raped, killed him and then raped his corpse (the latter two didn't happen, but he doesn't know that). Is it because he once loved him? I've never been in love so idk if that would make even a dent of a difference in my feelings of hatred if I were him.

100% on his side. Wish I had his guts. Only one I feel even remotely bad for is the guy who had to attend a funeral (if that was even true; if it was, why didn't he have any work done at that point to send?).

idk kinda unfair that he’s getting credits for doing nothing in the end.
where i live, you can show your lecturer/school a scanned death certificate. and from what i know, funerals in korea go on for days. he could have visited after the presentation. i kinda smell bs but we’ll probably never know lol.

Honestly, it's not a rejection. He's obviously got a little crush on him. When I reject people, I don't think, "Oh, well if they woo me I might like them." It's a flat out rejection. You don't tell someone to work to make you fall for them if you don't already have SOME feelings for them. So the ball's already on the court.
I cannot get enough of these two. I always hope for more sequels.
