He originally liked her because she was sexy. Later he liked her for who she was, but a HUGE part was that she "understood" him despite him being expressionless.

Full Marks Hidden Marriage is the name of the web novel that I read which is so similar to this. The beginning was slightly different and I wonder if this comic is infringing on copyrights or is this suppose to be an adaptation?

Honestly, if we’re gonna do these misunderstandings for god knows how many chapters and bring back the old friend who has a regret, I genuinely may have to drop this story. It was good and original, but now it’s raking in the cliches. What even?
Ikr it’s so annoying and everything is kind of repeating itself which the chapters literally give the story no progression on their actual relationship I love this story and how it went at the beginning but now it just became a bit boring..

I’ve only really been skimming, but didn’t he die in the original? In which case, it would probably be better to go with your feelings.
It really bothers me that all the big lines she uses that are part of why Arwin is growing to like her more and more are lines that Evelyn used, more or less. I mean, I’m sure those comments are true, coming from Latte, but she’s not saying her own words.

Nah, they weren’t exact, but they were essentially her lines. Just not verbatim. A little more of Latte flair to it.

She couldn’t remember them verbatim. We saw the same thing earlier when she said "you’re you and I’m me".
It’s possible she was talking about the same line, in which case, this time was more different, but the initial line that made Arwin realize he loved her was one very similar to what Evelyn said. Even this one was based on her trying to get out the gist of Evelyn's message, which is that he’s fine the way he is. I mean, I still love the story, but I wish more of the big moments were with 100% her own words.
It's just my own opinion but I think the line that Latte used doesn't suit the personality that Ebilyn is trying to portray it is more Latte like. Such as the "good monster" I think when it's Ibelyn she will directly say you are not because she's aiming for Arwin's favor instead of discussing the different types of monsters in front of the person asking you if you think that he is a monster and tell him but a good one, a good monster. Well, that's just my own opinion though.
