I don’t ship her with Claudia, but people are saying he only likes her because she doesn’t want him now. That’s not true, though. She’s being an actual person now. A kind person. That’s why he likes her now.

Nah, Vio was expressing boldy her feelings before(way even before reincarnation), but what did that superficial prince did? Ignore her. Yulan is right, He doesn’t realize that his actions as a man of authority humiliates Vio who is also a noble. He blindsidedly sides with “justice” same with Maryjun. Very simplistic mindset not even bothering to see the perspective of other people. Just blindly saying to people that they are wrong just cause the morals and values are different.

He did handle her “desperate attacks” well in our standards now. But if you think of the story’s setting, it is humiliating and he had prejudice in his mind against Violette. Ofcourse, Violette isn’t completely innocent either cause she approached him with a slightly selfish motive(but all in all she did liked him and she saw him as someone who could give her familial love, idk how she came up with that conclusion, maybe because he is royal who is more powerful than her dad and she lived her life just proving her worth to people who doesn’t appreciate her a single bit. thinking of marrying to more powerful family She thinks she might prove her worth? Poor girl )

How is it that Fujiwara is the only one who realizes Iino is in love with Ishigami?
It’s a shame both the jokes and the meaningfulness of some of the stuff in this chapter was lost in translation.

Well, since I don’t know if it’ll be edited, I’ll at least explain the important part. The first words she uses are: date, inquire, senpai, pain. Which is why Shirogane notes her interesting word choice. The "Y" that she looks at that makes her hesitate would’ve actually made the final word "Miko". It would basically be her admitting that she’s in pain that Ishigami went on a date with that other girl. So she didn’t want to use it. After that it’s jokes that are some inappropriate and some jabs at her. But the most important part is her word choice showing her jealously and her crush. She didn’t win because winning would essentially be admitting, to herself at least (and maybe Kaguya and Shirogane), that she’s insecure and in love.
I am DYING of laughter that her cussing and saying she'd crush her enemies made him fall for her. That is pique comedy. Very unlike typical stories with guys falling for innocent, pure-hearted girls. Bravo.
