I was rooting for Ethan from the beginning and I am thankful that he is the endgame. Theon is in noway anyway a ML or should be a love interest. I like people in the mangago comment is rooting for Ethan, official site people have diff opinion. BTW, you can read it in webtoon for free, so support the author and artist their and it is up to date. Anyway, I don’t honestly like Theon, he was someone who used Dorothy in their first live. She already had a shitty life from the beginning but Theon made it worse by not trusting her (he was literally her husband). And in this life he had crush on her but not love. Not at least on Ethan's level who would die for Dorothy.
Now lets talk about Ray, this is my personal opinion and interpretation. Ray is not all rainbow and sunshine, to me he was someone who didn’t wanted to look bad in front of people and someone who lack empathy. He knew about MC's suffering but he feign ignorance. Lot of people would say he was just a child as if he never grew up. Even he was a child, he was still beloved son for that fucker emperor. Even if he voiced out about this, it is not like he would have died. And what about Theon's marriage to MC? It was pretty clear that he suggested that marriage to Theon in both live. He knew Theon was deceiving MC in their first live but didn’t do anything and even in second when they both had good relationship, he suggested this arrangement to Theon without even asking MC. Ray never asked MC about her opinion and just think what he is doing is good. And truly feel like Ray's affection was just facade to make him look good which made MC's first life miserable.
Even one instance, Ethan and Dorothy said how he was purposely did bad acting about amnesia, how can someone sharp at one time act like a sunshine without a brain? I felt like he was a two faced guy who knew how to act foolish without brain so that he doesn’t need to be the bad guy. It is a truly a mystery.

The interaction between them felt soo real and how they grow closer tgt and share their feeling even when MC hiding thoughts from ML. Most of the manhwa would take MISUNDERSTANDING route and dump a SML so that ML and MC can get tgt again which honestly feels unreal and definitely a headache.

After like two chapters author glossed over that noncon sex. No matter how Sungyeon treated Hosik it doesn’t change that he had sex with Hosik when he was clearly drunk and said " NO" multiple times during that sex. And what after that? He could have said sorry but no he acted pitiful and locked Hosik and forced him to give him blowjob when Hosik was uncomfortable. This whole thing doesn’t seat right with me.
Author shouldn’t have glossed over this whole thing and went with try hard wholesome settings. I know this is a fictional and nothing to do with real life but it shows how a person think and how the people who reading thinking by saying this is a wholesome manhwa without pointing out the flows.
