This kept me on edge the whole day. I loved the mystery and the thriller it gave in the first half of the series.
The character the mystery and the art in the first half was way too good that the second half felt kinda meh~ felt like author didn’t know how to progress the story or got tired.

Tbfh, it would have been better if the MC was Midori rather than Ryuji. I don’t know if it is me but when there was a flashback about Midori, I was on edge and character of her was soo detailed. I hated the way author did her ending (ngl, I hated her at first but damn she is my fav character). Sweet but little bit psycho~~~ who wouldn’t be in this situation. The ending was kinda rushed as well, felt like author didn’t know how to explain Sho's backstory and what kinda entity he is and also if Ao was actually a man or a woman. I got fucking confused there. And, also what happened to the friend. Either give him to me or give him to a nice person. He is such a sweetheart.

They are soo good, crazy but good. Now need the brother side of the story. Both brothers suffered a lot because these egocentric and greedy people....

Just imagine this all was Gyeol's imagination. In real life, MC is dead and the blonde guy is in life support. And Gyeol upon hearing that the blonde guy tried to take his own life and have the same name, he start visiting him in hospital and imagining MC's soul living in his body. And all the incident happen, it is just different than Gyeol's perspective and even though everyone knew he became kinda weird talking to someone and all, they just rule out it as "He lost someone dear to him, so his brain is not working properly".

I like the characters and how MC focuses on revenge and minimal attention on love. This is a fresh take by author. And also the art is amazing. Only complaint is the phase of the story is kinda stiff and timeline is kinda messy. Maybe it is because of the translation, I don’t know. And, is MC the child of second Prince or the grandfather. It was so confusing. At first, it said second prince thn grandfather thn crown prince and again grandfather. TOO CONFUSING.

I don't personally like ML and don't know why did MC even fall for him. He is a abuse enabler. He took MC as a prisoner and let others torture her in most cruelest way. I mean even in this life the beginning wasn’t that different. He collected women and let them tear each other apart which is understandable HISTORICALLY but still I would prefer if MC didn’t fall for ML and just all about revenge and making friends. And, honestly ML's sob story didn’t impress me, his mother was an unfortunate victim of this cruel "SEVERAL WIFE" system and he is also going for this shit.
I like that MC didn’t became damsel in distress in front of the emperor rather trying to get upper hand in the relationship. ML is flowed character through n through which I like tbh.
