I just finished the manga and I liked it in general, BUT! What I hated the most was the amount of hate Yuki got...like wth??? Everybody trash talked him and how lucky he is blah blah! Like come on! Give this guy a break #－.－)
I really enjoyed this manga! It was really sexy and sweet without the usual drama! And it was a real treat for my tired eyes. ヾ(☆▽☆)

To be honest...I would’ve enjoyed it more if Shiratori wasn’t holding a grudge against Utou. For me it would’ve been more interesting to see how Sumi and Shiratori take care of that ‘accidental’ bond.
But now that Sumi finds out that there is a way to ‘loose ones bond’ it’s pretty obvious that this is what will happen. And in the end Sumi and Utou will probably end up being a pair....quite cliché for my taste, but that’s just my opinion
hahah I was hoping the same. I really didn't want Shiratori to be evil, because if he is, like right now, it would make for an easy story. Imagine if he was kind..... how torn would we have been lol. But yeah at the end most BLs already set the pairings from the get go.
I don’t think it is cliche (except in the fact that Sumi and Utou where interested in each other before bonding and get together in end). The story progression you mentioned is a LOT more common in the Omegaverse. An Omega and Beta pairing is not as common and I know of only one story that involves an Omega and Beta pairing with a broken Alpha bond (maybe two but still not common).

Rather than the gender aspect, I think OP was focusing more on the element of love rival/love triangle in this story. Love in rivals in BL usually turn out to be evil and that becomes a strong reason for the MCs to end up together, and that is quite predictable. However, it would be more interesting if the love rival was a good person because there'd be more internal conflicts occurring (e.g. Uke feeling guilty as he seems to be taking advantage over a nice person, the nice person realising that their bond is not for proper reasons, etc.)

Yes that’s true, but a love triangle with both being a nice person, the central part of the triangle (Sumi) using a part of the triangle (Shiratori) and it all being in the Omegaverse is quite rare (to me at least)
So I had to reread the manga since I forgot what actually happened in the past and now I’m here to share my opinion on different things (Shiratori, Sumi and the possible outcome of the manga imo).
Tbh I think that Shiratori-san was a real gentleman the whole time (he saved Sumi twice) and he gave him a warning that he should look for a mate really soon (but didn’t force himself on him). He even went ahead and tried to convince Sumi of changing the company he works for. All in all a REAL GENTLEMAN!
And then came the mark...
I actually cried during the flashback as to what happened when Sumi asked Shiratori to make him his pair. To those who don’t remember it: Sumi pleaded him to make him his pair BUT Shiratori at first tried shaking him off and even held his nose and shook his head when Sumi attempted a kiss. But in the end he gave in because Sumi asked him.
And NOW Shiratori just tries to be his genuine mate by asking him to live together, seeking his embrace during a panic attack and even wanting to spent more time with him.
I just wanted to appreciate him since I feel like everyone hates him just because he became Sumi’s pair instead of Utou and I understand that.
I as well was rooting for these two, but I just can’t really imagine a way out of the bond between Sumi and Shiratori...which makes me feel bad for Utou because he’s got ANOTHER beloved person ‘stolen’.
I’m not sure, but I don’t think this manga will end up as happy as the first one. I think that Shiratori and Sumi will stay a pair which is only bound by the mark on Sumi’s neck. Sumi will probably never really recover from the mistake he made by being to quick to decide a ‘permanent’ thing while Shiratori will gradually give up on trying to be a real partner for Sumi because he sees his suffering (and tbh I couldn’t blame him, because if we’re honest here would any of us have any motivation left to try hard for something when we notice that it doesn’t even really help no matter what we do??) as for Utou I think he as well won’t ever recover from it and be sad....
Or at least that’s my hypothesis on how things might work out.
And in all honesty....Sumi if you don’t want Shiratori-san then hand him over I’ll gladly take that angel!! (づ￣ ³￣)づ
I see your point and I agree with you me too at first thought the same, but I suggest you to wait before saying that Shiratori is a wonderful person, at some point I had the impression that he's hiding something, especially seeing the behavior in the last chapter ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

So far as the recent chapter goes, I totally agree with you. I never see Shiratori as the bad guy for now. I don't know yet his past... so, for the bond to break, I'm sorry to say this but he needs to die. ｡ﾟ･ (>﹏<) ･ﾟ｡

i think the key is the omega from his past.... if he leaves shiratori for a beta? or something like that... who knows but def he is using sumi and how cruel when he says to utou "how you feel to lost your work and the person you love?" and later even Utou warns him don't make sumy suffer, he say he will make Sumi happy because Utou as a Beta can’t. so def theres something more dark here.. chapter 12 comes out the next month and i guess is about Shiratori past.
Now i want to know about how to braeake a bond work and i'm so sure karasuma knows about that too.

yeah me too! Even if he looks like the villain at the moment, his behavior hides much more than hatred for Utou, I think it is more jealousy than anything else, perhaps because Shiratori had a difficult past from the few scenes that have been seen so far,that led him to have such behavior, or maybe Utou has taken away much more than a work project from him. This does not justify wanting to use Sumi,poor baby, but so far he has never treated him so badly as to suggest that he wanted to make Sumi suffer, but rather only Utou. Well this is my opinion (￣∇￣") , I hope that the method to break the bond with Shiratori is the same as I read in another manga, that is, that during the heat he gets pregnant by Utou (▰˘◡˘▰)

Ok...I’m a little confused about the method you mentioned (I’ve never heard of a method tbh xDD)...wouldn’t Sumi start vomiting as soon as Utou touches him (like back in chapter 9.1/2 I think...)? Or does this ‘natural rejection’ don’t even matter during an omega’s heat?
I don't remember well the name of the Manga, but I rember there was a similarities, the seme was a beta and the uke an omega, they loved each other and they had a relationship, but not an official one, but one based on benefits. the Beta left the omega so as not to make him suffer anymore, than an alpha arrived, with which the omega had formed a bond. The omega could no longer bear to be touched by the Beta (and in fact he vomited continuously) but both suffered because they loved each other, than the omega during the heat tried to stay with the beta, despite his body refusing him and they succeeded, the omega got pregnant, and after he had no more problems being touched by the Beta.
So I don't know for sure if the pregnancy was the reason or not, maybe it was because he forced himself to be with the Beta? It was one of the first Manga that I read about omegaverse so I don't remember well (￣∇￣")
