I don't know if you guys noticed the difference in art style from the beginning, to the mid and now... I think the beginning style is more on the "weak mc, fragile" style so when our mc transmigrated and the art changes, I simply thought perhaps it's because the MC carried herself with grace thus she appeared much mroe mightier haha but now it's soften back but not to the initial style tho and I prefer the recent new art where the MC is so. The awesome thing about this manga is not just the plot, the character development and the characters like Halfdan(?) and Thorkell and Askelad that shines so brightly with their own smarts, ideals and view on things and how they each act on it in their own crooked ways befits their living environment just really blow my mind.
All theese characters are jewels. Hild embodying Thorfinn's conscience and chain to his past, and Sigurd's transition to manhood hit specially hard on me.
