I really hope that the last panel is just a nightmare bc one of the ml wolf side's main characteristics is that it recognizes the puppy was mate since day one, it ever intended or tried to hurt the mc ever since they meet, later in the novel we find out that their first time was a during a pheromone shock and the ml just became aware of himself at the end
