the only thing i can say is the romance here is slow paced but beautiful.
as of the recent novel chapters they've only held hands, kissed, touch each other's faces and those moments were spaced out throughout the novel.
but as of the current timeline they haven't had sex at all. BUT the tension in those scenes they have always been as thick as cold af butter being sliced
this story is more about Yuder basically trying to prevent the world's destruction and everything bad that happened before in his previous timeline. with other mystery solving thingies to learn more of what was actually happening from his past timeline and about the origin of some things basically. and i guess having more friends and comrades lol

they did have sex in the PAST timeline
but it first started due to Yuder's first heat (something he's trying to prevent in the current timeline) dnd it coincided with Kishiar's rut. Kishiar later felt sorry and responsible about it.
and i think it was implied they did it multiple times like throughout the past
because when it was announced that Yuder will be the commander the cavalry were whispering things like he only got the position cause he slept with the Commander.
i think they both liked each other/ were their important person but Kishiar never exactly said it directly. and yuder didnt know. and the novel did depict yuder saying things like he should keep his feelings in check or something in the first few chapters.
also do take note. Kishiar is nice, when Yuder's heat happened he didnt do anything and stopped himself and just helped MC. he's just jelly when he interacts with other dudes or when yuder hurts himself. he's not really a red flag he just has downward/slanted eyes that make him "mysterious" i guess lol

Based on the raw novel (there's actually like 9++ chapter now), they did have sex in current life too but after they're establish as a couple and yes it's really really really slow.
The novel is based on yuder pov so it's realy hard to know past kishiar real intention buy based on what i read we can say that
1. They're fated mate and past kishiar body is super weak because of royal bloodline so that's why he went through rut when yuder get his heat
2. Past kishiar step down from his job because of his bloodline curse but current yuder actually help save current kishiar so the whol heat-rut didn't happen
3. Past kishiar love yuder but he knew he can't live long so he just waited for yuder to come and kill him
Basically past them are just so sad. I shead legit tears when reading it

for others reading. yes most of the time you wont be able to see his reaction. it's barely noticeable. from what i can remember the past Yuder/yuther has more expressions because he didnt know anything yet, a greenhorn, and Kishiar was teaching him the ropes, everything he needs to know to become a commander)
Yuder/yuther rn has seen and experience shit in his past so yes he's more expressionless/ruthless i guess if he wants to
i remembered it took a few chapters before Kishiar saw him smiling for the first time (cant remember when but he was already in the cavalry)
Kishiar is most of the time the ONLY ONE who can discern or notice his subtle change in expressions. who can also be on the same wavelength as Yuder. i think if you read the novel you can notice that they know what the other is thinking or the conclusion they can think of (but Kishiar is more mysterious cause Yuder is the MC who's trying to figure him out he just knows him well cause he's been with him in his past life)
Even Nathan (Kishiar's secretary/assistant/right hand man whatever you would call it) couldnt notice what Yuder was thinking (in recent novel chapter even Nathan acknowledged Yuder as someone who's in the same wavelength as Kishiar cause even he, Nathan, can sometimes not understand his master)
heck the other Cavalry members like Kanna and Gakane were shocked when they saw he had other expressions or that he's actually human of sorts cause they view him as strong af, competent and dependable (because of his past experiences)
I'm fine with the art, i can bear with it. what i hated was i guess the story or how the story was portrayed. damn
i thought it was all light and fluffy with a bit of imperial and noble family drama / angst
but nope they send out random / sudden dark themes and have talked of fantasy topic but never really came back to it like the wishing lamp. lol i thought it was a different story at first
(well it's still chapter 20 so i guess I won't judge much here)
but also the pacing and settings were weird. no indication of where or when it is or if it's already changed to a different location or time so i had to guess or put context clues. i thought the pages were jumbled or there was a page cut but nope that was actually it.
