This story is beautiful, complex and kinda realistic. It's a slow burn and you see characters growing, and the story & mysteries unfolding slowly one by one. Just like what the others have been saying in the comments below, it really is inspired by the old Victorian romance stories. I guess people didnt like it at first due to how slow the update is at first and how the start of the stpry was already a downer for the others but if you push thru and read it it feels so good~ (well for me that's how i feel)
