I don’t understand people who make comments about hating Tess (or any character really) that insinuate that they hate the literal character, and not the author. If you hate a character, then it’s the author’s fault for writing them poorly. You guys say you hate Tess for acting immaturely and only wanting to be apart of Arthur’s harem, but it’s the author who made her that way. In any harem/romance manga, you guys endlessly rave on about how useless and stupid these characters are, like they can control their own actions. But they don’t have free will like you and I. They are completely at the mercy of the author. I feel bad for all these potentially badass female leads who get sexualized and given one dimensional personalities, all for the sake of making the mc look desirable. Just my take.
I also feel like people hate on female characters way too much, like the personalities they receive from authors is a good reason for them to be shat on. The internalized misogyny people have really comes out

I’m with you there. This was a harem from the get-go. Honestly can’t stand it. I don’t understand why creators sideline women like this, using them as nothing more props to compliment the male lead. Can’t help but conclude that the author is a pile of sexist trash who is one of those who are all about the micro-aggressions. Doesn’t have anything against strong, multi-faceted women or persons existing beyond the binary with agency and goals and character growth independent of the men in their lives....just don’t include them in this story. But wait, let’s adorn every female with the air of strength and independence and depth...only to set them up in a sort of unspoken competition with each other for the male lead’s attention and affection...who is super OP (but it’s cute that they might try to keep up...and don’t worry, he’ll save them again and again and look now they are all in love with him. Definitely never his equal. Not.even.close.) cute. Even Goodsky isn’t immune to weird intrigue and even implies here would be some major conflict between entire races (elves v humans) if the male lead broke the hearts of each of those respective kingdoms’ princesses. FFS. Wow. What idiotic princesses they would have to be for that...even if it’s said in jest...it’s in line with the whole harem subplot. Yuck. I got this far, but after having someone else point out what I’ve been bitching about for a while now, I give up. It is the author. There’s no point waiting for that to change. I’m out.

Actually at first i agreed with this comment but then i read the translation and there was literally nothing wrong with it. Sis is good and she knows it. So yeah. Anyone who can't understand it is either a non english speaking person or an idiot. lol

Still, even as a non-English (English my 3rd language) I do get most of it ( I guess due to lack of vocabulary >^•^< ) and indeed there are far worse translations 100% agree.
