I bought the official chapter too and it is totally different!

He wasn't going to kill the teacher, he was going to kill the painter, which really makes less sense to me!
oh wow, I understand now. Thank you for confirming.
Can you also confirm the accuracy of translation in chapter 34 when Sh said "무서워서 네게 감히 뭘 할 수 있겠느냐?" It's translated as "I cannot do much with you at this rate, can I?". It's just bugging me a lot because I use google translate and there were the words "scared" and "dare", but those words weren't included in the translation and that's why I was skeptical at the accuracy of the official translation in the first place. Thank you.
I'm not trying to say Sh doesn't. But we can't deny the fact that he is the reason and the person who makes Nk suffers. That's why I said I hope his mental illness can be treated soon. I know Sh suffer in the past too, and it explains/is the cause of his unstable personality/mental illness/ lack of remorse. But it doesn't justify the suffering he causes for Nk, doesn't make his wrongdoings right or acceptable. I feel for him, but right now I feel for Nk more, bc he's the victim you know. Until Sh's backstory is revealed, i would only side with Nk, because he's the innocent one.
I don't think author portrays Seungho as someone with mental illness. He is more properly described as someone who is an eccentric, (surprisingly) obsessive, and... he's just being a Lord with special status. Reason why he's so full of himself and (ridiculously) demanding most of the times.
These were common traits of ancient Korean rulers, but not necessarily a mental illness. Maybe what he does is extreme for modern people (us, readers, common people), but that's just how these Lords roll in the past.
In my opinion, the author did a great job on her research, the background, characters, personalities and timeline as they are drawn and portrayed as realistic as it should be.
If you really believe the translator is deliberately translating the series incorrectly to make the story look worse then contact the author directly. Go on twitter, tell her you buy both the raws and the translation but you have to rely on a friend who's still learning Korean to translate it for you and she says he refers to the teacher not the painter in that scene. Ask for clarification, that usually works.
People come here to read mangas and webtoons that you SHOULD be paying for for free here. But when work is uploaded outside the official translations YOU SHOULD BE PAYING FOR now you're like "take it down! this is wrong!" Hypocrites ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
LOOOOL! You really dung deep enough to look at my account. (≧∀≦) I am telling everyone to go and pay for these things, no. I saying that I go and buy every manga/webtoon that I read here. NO! I don't think you understand the concept of hypocrite in this context so I will continue to laugh at you getting heated (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ. I am laughing at the facts that there is this honor among thieves that people can steal but not steal TOO MUCH
Okay. Basically what you are saying is “Ok, first I steal a little piece from everything and if I like the taste, I’ll buy it”. What if you read a manga’s first chapter and hated it, are you still buying the rest and if you say yes, I will really laugh. Besides, you don’t even have the right to check even the first page here if you consider it as stealing. You are also here to steal a bit. Don’t rationalize your behavior. In the end, if you have an account here and blame us of being thieves then let me enlighten you; you also are a thief. By the way I checked your account just to be sure that you aren’t a troll, nothing more, sorry to crash your dreams sweetie
And no, I understand what you are saying. I just fine that these unwritten rules are funny! Like fan translations that are publicly posted aren't right in the first place, but there is a rule that you can't steal a story from another translation group. Or that you fan translate a story but only if it's not officially done. I find the rules quite a bit wonky given the context of the site but I understand your opinion and respect that.

I finally thought this story would progess into a relationship between the 2 main characters and then they do THIS!? WHO IS THIS MAN THAT LOOK LIKE CORN?!
His brother
Spoiler :(
naw just guessing
Then that is a very good guess sir! I'm thinking the same think now!
I would rather guess a cousin of Ren. They'd share the same grandfather, maker of legends. Ren is an only son from my understanding. And I'm thinking Cedric is the one insulting him in the past isn't he. Wearing a suit and talking about his mixed blood (russian, japanese and american).
