I have actually taken the time to read through people's comments and I actually do think this sniping thing is unfair, but at the same time I feel so hard being on this groups side per say since they technically don't have the rights to the work in the first place. I understand if people take translations from the group and post them as there own, that's not right, but competition is just a part of life no?
Ok then think of it this way. What's also fustrating is that that group is doing it for practice so yay faster translations but that means they will stop once they have "practiced " enough. I would rather wait and know that I have dependable team that won't just drop out of nowhere when they don't want to continue. The snipping group is rude they can practice but do it were it won't affect the rest of us.
That's also very true. I would prefer the good old reliable car brand compared to the new one that doesn't have a history. I wish they were able to discuss this stuff with each other :(

You can access their discord if you know where to look (aka the mangas they scantalate)
The only way I remember to get to salty potatoes is to wait until they announce more open spots and hopefully be the first ten or something.

Nah fam, there discord is only for people to apply for to be a typesetter or a translator, they don't share the discord website with their actual chapters

As I said, that is no longer the case. Those old links are dead and that is not how the group operates anymore. The only discord links they put up now are for help so...

I got in the same method as you...except im banned for no fucking reason. But That's not how they work anymore. They also say they do ban appeals but they don't(so they're basically scum to me)

pray attacked jamil and left him for "dead" just because Jamil had someone he cared about. then proceeded to fuck said person. what can b.s. reason would make it okay for jamil and pray to end up together. Both Jan and Pray are trash.
I find it more of a Hugo related trait. Pray was emotional and had a sense that he was connected to Jan and then went territorial since Jamil, who is the weaker animal at the time, refused his demands as the dominant feline. We gotta remember, they look like people but are also animals in a sense. So i'm giving Pray a pass on that cuz look at him once he calms down! He's a just a little simba plush and i want him!!!
Oh! and i don't want pray and jamil to end up together in that sense, just that they don't end up with Jan

Pray also hates the fact that Jamil threw his hugo pride away and destroys himself to be someone he's not. it's ok to change for someone you care about but is it worth it if you just hide behind a mask to become someone you're not ?
