First of all, Idk why people are complaining about the development of the backstory when Hyo-Un literally had been mentioning that he had a mate who he had been calling "sir." And we had verification on the early development of the backstory who tf that sir was. So idk why y'all expected the story to deviate lmao
But anyways, wasn't Hyo-Un like the dragon protector/provider of mc's family for generations? Does that implied that mc will marry someone else then have a family? Or did he have family members (i.e. siblings who can continue the bloodline) who he left and they'll maybe reconcile in the future??

Im curious about this too. Beginning of season two says taehyuk belongs to the same clan within the kings extended family. It could be a direct descendant thing so taehyuk has a child or just within the same bloodline meaning the prince who killed everyone is what continues it
