this honestly felt really promising at the start but the author is just trying to do too much and it's just not working. like it had a simple but interesting premise before but now it's just convoluted rather than complex, which is probably what they were aiming for. also the characters do not communicate at all, it's lwk just a hot confusing mess

for some reason i thought this was the story w the mum who was against the mc's relationship. there was a part where the son and mum were watching tv tgt and it was featuring same sex couples, and the son asked the mum how she felt abt it. she was saying it's fine or wtv, but later when he revealed his relationship she was pissed and was saying how she knew smth was up bc he was like testing her on it before.
