this is WILDLY underrated holy fuck. the plot is so insanely well fleshed out and especially for such a short manhwa. it's got such an original storyline and MAN THE CHARACTERS!!! these two are so perfect for each other. it's crazy how well this author wrote their dynamic and the development of their relationship in the midst of such a chaotic and action packed plot. everything worked together so fucking well. like their relationship felt SO NATURAL and so beautiful. watching them fall in love with each other, fight for each other and live for each other really hit so hard

this is genuinely SO fucking good but can someone please explain to me their personality types?? i'm so confused like how is jiwoo f and not t?? 50/50 between i and e? when he's the biggest introvert ever and is exhausted around 99% of people? and then daehan 50/50 between f and t, not just f? wtff am i missing something.
i can't tell if it's bc i'm misunderstanding the characters or i'm misunderstanding the myer-briggs personality type system. or maybe the author misunderstanding the personality types?? idk can someone more knowledgeable in this area please enlighten me

i'm genuinely astonished at how good this was. i had no clue that i was gonna experience a whole masterpiece when i first clicked 'start reading' MANNN 8.8 does not do this justice. everything about this was so well crafted: characters, plot and art. god i love akemi and oka so much, the progression of their relationship throughout the story was just so phenomenally depicted.
sugura was also just the perfect side character for this story. i love how he distinctively feels like his own character too, as in not JUST serving as a wingman but having his own individual identity.

also the little mermaid reference !!! it hit EXTRA hard because i had just studied an extract of it the other day for my illustration assignment and reinterpreted the scene. the author referenced to the perfect fairy tale for this story. not only bc of the idea that "monsters and humans live in different worlds" but also bc hans christian anderson was most likely a closeted homosexual. he wrote a love letter to a male friend who got engaged around the same time he wrote the fairy tale god this was beautiful.

the problem with the uke is NOT the fact that he's a prostitute, it's the fact he keeps taking advantage of the seme's feelings for him, teasing him abt it, inviting him to sex, and then when the seme shows interest in him as a person he gets all pissed off. the uke also never listens to the seme's pleas to stop. i really believe the seme deserved better as he showed nothing but love, kindness and respect towards him this entire time.

now that i just learnt the author actually drew the teacher x hirose tgt as a ship im actually at a loss for words, i dont think anything could describe how disappointed i am. if she made it clear from the start it was teacher x student, ok wtv, not my cup of tea i probably wouldn't have read.
but it's the way she genuinely misled us into thinking this would be wholesome this entire time (and it was wholesome in vol 1), but now all of us are hit with this groomer bs ?? like yes, wtv it's her story she can do what she wants but she surely should have been aware how so many of us who were fans and really enjoyed it would feel about this. like i swear NONE of us were here to see a teacher-student relationship.

hi!! i meant the twitter post not in the manga sorry i wasn't clear. that's what i meant by "drew [...] tgt as a ship" https://x.com/iimawa21/status/1848192493244019106
i'm hoping that perhaps it's just non-canon art by the author but it's just not looking that great.

i completely had the same perspective as you too so i understand, it's just that after i saw the ship art i was like "wtf" ykwim? like i genuinely thought people were kind of overreacting from the manga, bc i thought it was just an unrequited love with some questionable acts by the teacher (e.g. the 'if you were a girl' flirting) and then i realised why after i saw the tweet

Okay thay is. Weird. For sure. But I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be non-canon? Like, it's hard to say much of anything when these are presented out of context (not that the context would make 'em less weird, but at least we'd know what led to these...) but I think Syundei knows well enough not to draw something this problematic in her most popular manga. My best bet for this is she started this weird thing between hirose and the teacher in the manga out of plot reasons (giving hirose a male crush just to state he's into dudes) but then uh, got sidetracked on her free time. Yikes. But I'm still pretty hopeful about this not becoming canon.
(If it does, I'll probably just try to forget this manga ever existed )

And honestly I see a lot of people point that scene ("if you were a girl") as flirting but I just saw it as more a joke?? Since what hirose said was a pretty tropey, shoujo protagonist line.
My biggest gripe with him is the ride he gave hirose + exchanging numbers like they're just good ol' pals...?? Bc there's certainly a line there somewhere that otogiri is ignoring, which, yk, doesn't say the nicest of things about him...

oh yeah i agree with you for sure sorry, it's just that part was on my mind the most because i just can't imagine a teacher making that kind of joke to a student. but definitely, the car and number thing was definitely the most suspicious. at my high school i remember it was literally prohibited for teachers to give the students their phone number so i found that weird too
THIS CANNOT BE REAL WHY DID IT END THERE I LOVE THIS MANHUA SO MUCH PLSS GIVE US MORE. nothing was even resolved (regarding anti-aging) and most importantly the devil lord and princess never got tgt?? i genuinely was so shocked when i read 'end' i was seriously expecting at least 20 chapters and everyone getting married when they figured everything out.
