Omg, I wouldn't mind rivals in BL if this is how they are handled. The MC was so steadfast in his feelings and wasn't wishy washy about it at all and didn't keep changing his feelings from one dude to another.
Yoon Woo is such a huge breath of fresh air as a MC. I liked how firm Yoonwoo was about his rejection towards Dohyun and didn't string him along for 50+ chapters to generate drama. More bottoms should take note from Yoonwoo on how to handle third wheels. Just because the third wheeler is respectful doesn't mean the MC needs to fuck him. It's been such a long time that I last saw a chaser bottom. I like how Yoonwoo is more assertive than Taegyeom.
Taegyeom was also such a greenflag. I love seeing greenflag x greenflag BL. They are both made for each other.
I love this dynamic so much. One is obsessive while the other seems to drown in that obsessiveness and doesn't mind. The best kind of combo.
It's kinda shit how Jeongyoon never finds out that Chaheon was met with opposition by his family. He had a right to know about it. Homophobia isn't cool just because the MC's family is doing it out of "concern." That's a shitty way to end the series.
The first couple started out good, but something about their relationship just progressively got more and more claustrophobic and suffocating, it's so weird. I don't know what happened to them. The second couple on the other hand was a breath of fresh air even though it looked like they would be toxic in the beginning. They communicated, talked and worked through their insecurities almost immediately. I liked how equally they were putting in effort for each other.
It also didn't help that the ML refused to come clean about his obvious insecurities regarding the ugly photographer guy (seriously, why is he so ugly) and continued to take out his anger about it on the MC. Like dude, just fucking talk? I don't know, you are hurting him regardless. Way healthier to just tell him what's bothering you instead of assaulting him every time.
In the first place, it's reasonable to be bothered by the fact that your boyfriend brought over another guy who clearly looked like he liked him into his room. The way Suk-yun reacted was bad. His insecurity itself wasn't.
The MC himself also bothered me because he knew the ML was obviously uncomfortable about Jun but he still kept on meeting him, KNOWING that dude used to have hots for him back in high school. Yes, his family did a lot for him but he also gave them money and moved on. He should be prioritizing his present relationships than the ones that passed by.
Letting him stay over was a major fuck up on his part. Him continuing to prioritize Jun during that situation was another fuck up. Everything about the first couple went to shit with Jun's introduction in the story. Such an unnecessary addition. Jun also added NOTHING of substance in the main couple's relationship and the way that arc concluded was anti-climactic and unsatisfying to say the least. Jun and Wooin don't talk or close that arc of their relationship. It's just left hanging for no reason, wtf.
The whole age gap and son-father thing the author insisted on in the earlier chapters just pissed me off even though it's a really good manhua.
The sex scene was disappointing. No foreplay, no making out, just going in dry like the Sahara desert. C'monnnn.

The plot is good, but I am gonna be honest: The romance just does not interest me. It's so one-sided that it feels boring to witness. Shagar seemingly reciprocates, but it feels rather abrupt than a well developed development. He doesn't even mind if Fio sleeps with other people. You can't tell me he actually likes the dude, lmfao Unless I see him actually being jealous over him, I don't think I am convinced he likes Fio romantically.
Also, did the assault have to be THAT detailed? Like brother ewwww. I don't need to see him getting raped in such detail and that immediately being brushed off like it's not a serious offense by the MCs. Wdym Shagar says "you are so kind and generous, I never lost interest in you" HE RAPED YOU DUDE. WHAT THE FUCK. Like what the fuck do you mean? Aren't you in a relationship with Fio now? Wdym you haven't interest in LUSO??? I am so freaking confused.
Bruh, I am obsessed with the second couple but they barely even appear anymore. I am so sad. The reason I even read this anymore is just to see them.

I hope this series never ends. Both of the main leads are SO fucking likeable it's insane. It's rare to find BLs where everyone is likeable and there isn't at least one MC who isn't raising my blood pressure.
