Man, I feel so fucking bad for Minsik. That dude got the worst of everything. His own brother and mother treated him like a punching bag and his lover also ended up murdering him, YIKES. He really couldn't catch a single break.
Anyway, did they both die by the end? I didn't really understand what happened by the end. I know they were both shitty assholes, I still couldn't help but want them to survive by the end. They got some really good characterization, I couldn't help but get attached and hope for their survival. I got a little emotional over these murderous grown men dying by the end, ugh. That detective had to come over and ruin everything. Someone tag this shit tragedy please. I don't fw tragedies even if they are in dark romance. That ending fucked with me.
The prosecutor followed the murderer into the ocean. Someone said he took what is prob the drugs that the murderer had obtained (back when he was dating that married dude) which is a heavy sedative or something that would help him not be able to swim back to shore, and this drowned himself in the ocean, kind of a symbolic to go to be with his partner. The image was a hallucination.
So, if Jihoon died, Gitae would have been left with no s-lines...
I don't think I have ever read something that has pissed me off so bad the entire time. I don't know how both the main characters manage to be so insufferable.

The side couple's story isn't doing it for me. It's clear Dawool is still isn't over his ex and is using Eden as a momentary relief. I hate when a character is clearly not over their ex and they start a sexual relationship with the love interest before they develop a romantic attraction towards each other.
Rather than not being over him, its more like he is still traumatized from what his ex did, he is afraid how people can change for worse.
That feeling when you thought you knew that person and for someone you trusted so much just to act like the opposite of what you expected, just like he said.. he was naive, he didnt expect him to change like that.
Yes he did took advantage of Eden's presence in the first part but later chapters show that he is slowly opening up to him since Eden made Dawool realize that rather than being focused on the changes thats gonna happen in the future why not focus on the present. I think the fact that he still attended the alumni event, means he is trying to prove to himself that his ex doesn't faze him anymore but I guess his ex being a hypocritical ass, made him mad. Im not justifying his actions but rather pointing out the reasons what made him act like that.
I am gonna be honest. I see no point in second MLs when the MC almost never ends up with them. Like what even is the point of their existence? I just feel exhausted by their presence.

Oh, I hate having to see main characters fucking people that aren't the love interest. I was about to drop this from the 2nd chapter sex scene, like what was even the point, tf.
Anyway, Taeseok pissed me off initially because really, he wanted Dojun to bottom but he himself didn't wanna bottom. It just feels shitty when the top insists for the other person to bottom for his comfort, but won't even spare the possibility of bottoming for the pleasure of the other person. That's so incredibly selfish. Why even bring up the topic of bottoming/topping if this is how it's gonna end? Sigh.
Anyway. I really don't like Jinwoo at all. I don't know if anything can redeem that guy for me. No way he kissed a sleeping Dojun and jerked off to him all the while he knew he was dating someone else. Ew. He is so icky. I don't know why Gitae is so fixated on him. Yearner tops are dime a dozen, it's gotten boring. Give me a yearner bottom for once. Both of the tops being the chaser was boooring.
The way they started dating was honestly pretty anti-climactic. It felt like Dojun just gave up due to the persuasion at one point and dated Taeseok because of it. Not because he actually likes the dude. It was annoying how even the SECOND conflict ended with Taeseok chasing after Dojun. Like c'mon. That feels so one-sided.
They are so god damn purrtyyyyy. It's not fair. I know tis volume is about to be ANGSTY. It's par for the course for volume 2s.
Anyway, I don't think Hasumi can be counted as Isshiki's former dom. He did say their sessions were part of his healthcare since suppressants don't work well for him. I don't really see that as Hasumi being his 'partner.'
I get that Sho is a victim, but I don't get him victimizing people who had no hand in abusing him. Neither Sumito OR Gaku deserved to be entangled in their shit. Gaku gets kicked out of his clan and has to live in hiding, all the while Sho and Kaname get to be the clan leaders and even have a baby. That's the ending that Sumito and Gaku deserved. I can't believe that half assed ending is what they got by the end. Kaname's beef was with the dad, not his brother. I don't get why he thought it was such a brilliant idea to chop off his brother's wings.
I really don't like promiscuous MCs/MLs, but both of them were likeable enough for me to look past that one trope I dislike. Either way, I don't remember much of the side couple lol, but they look pretty interesting from the looks of the extra.
