He's not gonna listen to anything the uke tells him at any point but someone how, the uke will fall in love with him because he's a little bit naive.

hunterx2 March 20, 2020 8:15 am

Dang, 0 to 100 for no reason at all.
So he really just whipped it out and came on his face like it was nothing.

hunterx2 March 19, 2020 6:25 pm

Something that's not, "I loved him so much but he never gave me enough attention and he worked soo much!"

Like, there better be something that Doyun did that's objectively bad to the point where it's as if he cheated on Wonhae. If not then I just can't care under the circumstances.

hunterx2 March 17, 2020 9:03 pm

but personally, the ending left much to be desired for me.

I feel like they didn't really wrap up any of the big parts of the story, like what happened with Jiwook? And Joohoon really just got away scottfree. Also, the author pointed this out but, they really skated over the incident that led Joohoon to be mad which set up the big incident in the story.

Also, I understand why Woojin didn't do anything for Taemin while he was a kid. He was like, 8. What could he do then? But he got to the point where he was paying someone to follow Taemin and keep him updated with his life. Like, he saw that Taemin had a horrible life and did nothing to improve it? He couldn't have found a way to get him a better paying job? He couldn't have helped pay a little bit of his debt? I mean, what was his actual plan to help Taemin? Replace Fathers sick son, get rich, ??????, end up with Taemin? Like, what?

And, in the end, I feel bad for Taemin but more so OG Siwon. Like, he was a top student from a super well off family and had only recently started getting bullied. He didn't have a single friend? Ever? As jealous as his brother was and high as his personal specs were, he didn't have a single person who liked or missed him from pre-body switch life? Outside of his mom? No one? Like, at all

I was really hoping that towards the end, we would at least get something more about Han Siwon, who was apparently just a nice, kind, smart, dude who loved his brother and yet, was driven to kill himself.

    Couldn't agree more

hunterx2 March 14, 2020 5:13 am

I'm just sad. Because this is really how things happen in life. Someone will be hurt by a past relationship and then they will go and find some nice, innocent person and pass their hurt along.

It really sucked reading these last few chapters because even without the cheating aspect, it showed that Woohyun has never REALLY loved Seokil and he won't let himself. Six years of his time and Seokil's WASTED. They have a whole life built together and it doesn't even seem like he's tried to meet Seokil half way. And for why? Because his highschool boyfriend left him. So now he spent a whole long term relationship detached. All over his cocky highschool ex.

Like, it's not even a "You don't deserve him". It's "Please learn to love yourself so no one else gets hurt"

hunterx2 March 8, 2020 6:23 pm

The emperor has to die for Bella. That's it. Any version where they end up together will be bad. It's not like other stories where the main jerk lead is at least nice and introspective behind closed doors.

This guy isn't funny, caring, or charming. He's not even really regretful? Like, he doesn't think the things that he did were specifically bad things. They are just things that he might not have done to Bella if he knew who she was to begin with. And that's not really saying much since he sold Bella into slavery and told all of her friends that she died. Like, he didn't even plan to ever go back for her or anything. he was just like, "Welp, she's as good as dead now".

I hope he dies.

hunterx2 March 6, 2020 12:40 pm

How you gonna talk all that stuff and then get beat by a guy with a broken arm?

The lesson here is to stay in your lane. He should have taken his first L and stopped.

hunterx2 March 1, 2020 6:01 pm

I'd rather they nicely wrap up the Joel/Chase storyline. Like, they can both acknowledge the feelings that they have but they both then decide to not be together because it's just a bad life decision.

Joel can work on being a better father and Chase can work on finding someone his age to like. Then, maybe a real friendship can be fostered between Andy and Jesse.

I just feel like, no matter how I spin it, Itonaga got the short end of the deal. Even when he was telling the other bully off, I couldn't help but think "Well, they are right". Itonaga was only billied to the extent that he was because of Sanada. Itonaga had friends and was enjoying his life. Some people made fun of his eyes but he was still doing fine. Then Sanada makes his life so bad that he has to transfer schools in the middle of the year.

The characters are both charming but it just feels like they made the whole thing about Sanada getting over his guilt for being a bully and not Itonaga being bullied. And their relationship, while cute, feels unearned.

    LinZhen February 23, 2020 10:35 am

I get that. Sanada was the one responsible for things taking a turn for the worse. However, I think the reason why I personally like him is because he not only admits his culpability in all of it (he was right about Kanezaki too btw) but he also strives to be better. He's gone beyond just treating Itonaga with minimal decency or punishing himself for his early behavior. And that's so refreshing.

    Setter_Soul February 23, 2020 2:16 pm

Imagine the guy that was a bully now regrets all his wrong doings and trying to change but then their friends who also joined in to bully suddenly said "but it's your fault, we just joined because of you", they're part of the act too y'know, getting mad at the person who's trying to change feels like they enjoyed the bullying more. This is the problem with bullying, there's literally kids who probably be the side characters who laughed at the sides and probably joined in too and do more damage than the person they called out who started it first.

Thank you hunterx2 for your honest comment. I agree with you wholeheartedly.

hunterx2 February 20, 2020 5:43 am

They just didn't have any chemistry. Good chemistry can make people overlook tired cliches, bad plot, and questionable content. It's the very least you should have if nothing else you have is strong.

After reading this, I don't want these characters together. I'm not rooting for their ship. And tbh, outside of them as a couple, they aren't interesting as individuals either.

    Sasifras February 20, 2020 6:42 am

It got greenlit for more chapters, if you can believe it. I think it was because it was one of the first, one of the few omegaverse that featured an omega top.

I mean, hey, maybe with more time the creator can develop the characters more but I stuck out the first stretch thinking that and it never really happened.

It's a kind of how I felt about Seku Tsuga. It was building up well. Then *spoilers* we get back story of a previous a-hole, quick closure/getting over it, and back to the nice guy who he broke up with for absolutely no reasonable things were going well. And he was like, okay, let's get back together. WTF? A lot of manga end up feeling like they just ran out of time.
But based on the chapters already out, I am unsure AzusaxKaede is going to make more sense after this.

    Hikari February 20, 2020 10:23 pm

Yeah, agreed. Also I just can't overlook Azusa alienating Kaede from his friends, that's verrrrry abusive. Not cute at all. If this was a dark story maybe it would've been fine, but it's supposed to be cute??? Nahh fam. That's not how it works.

A lot of manga's seem like they have run out of time because they do sometimes. Sometime the manga run get shortened or extended suddenly so they have to change up the plot suddenly to adjust for it. Have you ever read Hidoku Shinaide? It's really changed as it's gone on and people always bring it up. That's because the first volume was the only thing originally planned for it. The response was good and the mangaka wanted to do more so it was extended until now. As a result, the whole story changed. Seku Tsuga might be a story that got shortened, IDK. But at least Seku Tsuga's lead were likable.
