Apparently, Arjen gets payed dust and really just gets nothing as the story goes on. No powers, no romance, no good development. They just make him a swordsman in a world where magic exists... So a regular person. The whole thing just becomes about Arien. He doesn't get powers because he used all of his saving Arien's life. So he becomes normal and she becomes the greatest mage and gets together with their guardian. That also seems like a slap in the face to me as well. Because so now, the person there to protect them both will always choose Arien and she is STRONGER than Arjen. They just minimize his character so that Arien can be the sole lead and I'm not here for it. I'd rather end it now while their story is together and equal.
And I'm upset because I really like Arjen. I see no reason why both of the twins couldn't of had a good story. Oh well. Another story to drop off of my Tappytoon.
God that’s depressing, if they were gunna do that anyway they should have started with one mc not twins cuz I’ve grown attached to the guy so knowing that they’re just gunna shove him off is sad. He deserves better. What drew me in is the twin aspect. Now I’m debating whether I should even keep reading.
tbh i had that feeling since the begining. i feel like we've only seen the story in arien's perspective and in the last few chapters i feel like they've completely focused on arien. it's a shame to know that they did arjen dirty, what's unique about this manhwa to me was the fact that it's a story about the twins, THE TWINS, both of them should have an equal share in the spotlight. again this is just my opinion
I dislike the bathing part. Even if he wasn't cursed, no boy his age would want to be washed by his crush in the bath.
It would be embarrassing. At least in "Sincerely: I Became a Duke's Maid" the girl was literally just doing her job as a maid. And he didn't have a romantic attachment to the FL when it happened. Here it just ruins the vibe for me.
He's a royalty, the maids used to bathe him, but because ancia fired all maid, and she still alert with the remaining maid, ancia decided to bathe him herself, she literally doing the maid work like cooking for him and bathing him (novel explain it better)... Yes it's embarrassing for blake, but ancia has adult mentality so it's normal for her bathing a 8 years old crown prince
I really wish these stories would give you more reason to root for the side that they clearly want you to pick. Like, outside of being hot, what reason would anyone want Jooin to end up with Yahwi? He's not the safer option, he's not the funner option, he's not the kinder option, he doesn't care about Jooin's feelings. And thinking about it just now, we literally have only seen him either be rude to Jooin, ignore Jooin, or have sex with him. You don't even get the usual tsundere troupe scenes where the ML is nice behind the scenes. Like, even taking into account that Yahwi remembers Jooin from childhood made no difference. Because with all the information I have, I'm still not sure Yahwi even likes him.
Like, IDK. Even if Cain weren't an option, I wouldn't want Jooin with Yahwi. My line of thinking is that if Jooin can pull someone as hot as Yahwi then he can pull someone of equal hotness who treats him well.

When I read the story the first time, I wondered how the Emperor ended up with such an almost jaded personality. And how he warped situations almost as if to make the empress a villainess to excuse himself. After re-examining the story, I think I see what the problem is.
The people who support the empress support her as a person but the people who support the Emperor don't. So the Emperor lacks common sense and has no person who would be willing to really say "Hey, man. You need to cut that out."
It doesn't excuse him but it explains things a bit.
