taeha has the character of a seven year-old obsessing over his candy. while mincheol has the character of a middle-aged loser. yeah you can say mincheol has more character or should we say character regression.. because he was a good guy BEFORE... but life happening doesn't justify him cheating and wanting to feel superior by hurting the woman who literally stood by his bullsh*t. watching his downfall is satisfying but i don't need his redemption. there is none.

My thoughts exactly.It's annoying but I think he might has twisted feelings for her rather than pure hate.They lived together for many years after all.The way he don't want her to be good to him seems like he's afraid he will acknowledge her love.
Can’t you see the dad is trying to use her? He’s not having sex because he enjoys it. He hates her guts but he also knows she loves him in her own twisted way. By soothing her physical needs and speaking to her with a hint of kindness he can get her to do what he wants to a certain extent.
He isn’t just having sex with her cause he’s h0rny he is doing it to manipulate her, like she did to him when they were younger, cause he knows that she has feelings for him so he is using those to protect his kid basically.
