i read in the spoiler that shes got the ability to flip back and forth between the bird’s body and her human body if either one of them is poisoned. i think later on her bird body is going to get pricked by poisoned weapon so she wakes up in her human body. the ability bcs shes got golden blood flowing from her ancestors (the one mentioned at the very beginning). her human body is being kept by the enemy as hostage tho

i see a lot of people are frustated with min gyeom’s character and i can also see why bcs it did get me frustated too at some point HAHA but i have to say im tipping my hats off to the author. its easy to build an “ideal” main character with pristine strong attitude because its what we perceive as admirable in real life. the author was able to put “flaws” in min gyeom as the main character, as the depiction of people in reality.
its easy to make a chatacter that is satisfying to read, but harder to make a realistic character who made mistakes, has complicated thoughts and makes bad decisions to regret.
i re-read this after a few years, and ive noticed real psychological things i didnt notice when i read it when i was a bit younger...i got so much more frustated by the arch plots too:) chun sam’s mom and dad’s backstory is freaking adorable tho
the husband is such an asshole at this point, but lord- HES SO HOT
can we just talk abt how hot everyone is in that last one tho..
when he said “-it was all to get my attention!” i cringed so hard, i literally got accidental muscle cramp
