I know a lot aren't very satisfied with the ending but this is a Japanese manga so yes, chapters are shorter unlike Korean manhwas but I definitely prefer Japanese mangas over manhwas just because they don't put random plotlines just to lengthen the story because there are times when stories don't need to be that long but there are also times where short stories don't get to portray more of the characters dynamics with one another.
But still, Higuchi, for me, have grown as a character especially changing his field from heart surgeon to emergency medicine meaning he's definitely been coping and slowly accepting his mistakes now.
