I actually like the princess. Yes, she is self serving, but it think it is due to her childhood, not bc she is necessarily a bad person. She is rather ignorant of the harm to the servant her actions are causing bc for her, allowing a servant to be a consort is a big privilege, since the servant gets to live an easy life now.

That motherfucker literally DISLOCATED his arm when he was raping him. Fuck you Chang and your so called “love” - your just a self serving ass hat and the faster the author drops this character, the better. Seeing his face SICKENS me.

to be honest yes(⊙…⊙ ) a rapist usually doesnt give a shit about the one he rapes right????and the situation here agravated but i truly hate it when the author makes someone rape and then shows a cute scene because it is very confusing, and why is Ed ok with selling himself to strangers but not to Chang?even so it was very awful to see what happened it was rape but Chang seemed like he was really at a breaking point very desperate he didnt seem like a rapist he seemed like he lost it maybe jealous because he had seen the videos ........

Consent isn’t something that is set in stone. You can consent to sex, but then change your mind. That is what Ed did. He consented at first, then changed his mind and explicitly stated that he wanted to stop, he did not enjoy the experience, and even tried fight him off. No matter how cute Chang is, or what Ed did to provoke him, in the end it IS in fact rape bc Ed said told Chang to stop multiple times. Perhaps our definitions of consent differs, but that is my take on it.

Ed isn’t okay with selling himself to Chang bc he has a rough history with Chang, and hates him for putting him in thousands of dollars in debt. If you put yourself in Ed’s shoes, would you rather sell yourself with a complete stranger or sleep with Someone you have beef with. I feel like there are a lot more feelings of shame and guilt about being a prostitute if you sell yourself to someone you have a rough history with.
Also, I would agree w u that it is confusing when the author try’s to make us sympathize w Chang, but even if he doesn’t seem to look like a rapist (he’s v cute I’ll admit), he did still rape Ed w/o his consent. Jealousy and unrequited love are probably the motivation behind his assault, but it still doesn’t make it okay.

If she really feels bad, she should take responsibility and apologize! Not only that, but also go to the school board and tell them that is was only a rumor, so the MC can have her job back. That bitch is horrible, and outing someone is cruel, especially since The setting is in an in China, where the culture is not very accepting towards the LGBTQ+ community. Jesus, she pisses me OFF! (/TДT)/

Honestly, the MC is the bad guy in this situation. I mean, the primary reason why they are attacking him is because he was hoarding all the goods when they are about to go to war. My dude should have just taken what he needed and left the rest behind. For example take the story about him getting those snake apples a couple chapters ago, he took the whole fucking orchard and left none behind for the other adventurers. I mean he could have just taken a couple from a tree, but he was just being greedy.

The thingss he needed are really not small in numbers. Like 80 apples.. And soo others in huge amounts. Those are his requirements for the container.... So he had to take them right? And why should he just give them away when all of them were ready to kill him. Dont forget his brother was betrayed in this very world and killed by his known ppl. And most of all he too is preparing for his brothers revenge. Where he needs all sorts of strong things to defeat the enemies... So its not really like he is the bad guy. Its survival.

Yeah I get what you guys mean, but I think the author making him gather so much shit is still making the MC look pretty selfish. I’m not saying that he should give shit out to strangers or anything, but it doesn’t really make sense that he took ALL of the good materials from the floor with out him just hoarding things for the sake of keeping it.

Well... u're not actually wrong. But if we consider that the MC came JUST to take revenge, I don't think he's selfish. It makes sense to act like that.. I mean, when u planning a revenge, u won't even get to thinking about others nor helping them-- not to mention "these others" basically has killed his brother or choose not to help (like those One-Horn Tribe).
So IMO, from completing the quest or just making the resources depleted; as long as it can make him achieve his goal, revenge, he'd do it. I think that's the closest explaination..

Lol I think u misinterpreted my comment or something. the shit in my comment is a synonym for goods or materials, not calling you shit or anything at all. I feel like the age group for You guys are elementary or middle schoolers since this is getting so heated.
Anyways I’m commenting again to just say I respect u for being polite
Damn the author really pulled a fast one on us
