WTF are you talking about? Ch 1 of this story opened up with Jingi raping somebody's Uncle. People didn't start liking Jingi until he got drunk and started being somewhat nice or flirtatious towards Myeonggi even then people didn't even like him. People also mainly started to like him after we found out his mom died and started feeling bad for him. I still cringe and wince seeing nail clippers in my house because of what Jingi did to Myeonggi. Pissing inside Myeonggi was also really gross and disgusting. People hated Jingi first then started to warm up to him but with Heonjae people thought he was cute and innocent at first but are now starting to dislike him. That's probably why the comments seem more bias towards Jingi.

Lol obviously not. He's not the typical male lead in that he would choose to save the world over her, but he's reliable logical and all these other amazing things so why is she acting like he's evil? After the two get together, majority of the scenes are between Chase and Josh. We hardly see Chase interact without anyone other than Josh. However, once the two DO get together, there is maybe 1-2 moments where Chase is insecure and gets jealous easily, but bc of how Josh handles Chase, it's soooo satisfying. Josh is such a great character. After reading Kiss Me Liar, it's so refreshing to read about an uke that is confident and knows how to communicate. Their misunderstanding never lasts more than a couple of paragraphs.
But to answer you question, after Chase starts sleeping with Josh, his personality improves soooo much. Most of his stress and outbursts is due to his nature as a dominant alpha. As established in the world, if a dominant alpha doesn't regulate his pheromones through sex (or drugs), he's bound to go haywire. And that's what happened to Chase. Chase is traumatized by sex (thanks to Grayson) so he's never had sex with anyone other than Josh. Once their relationship became sexual, Chase immediately calmed down and more relaxed. Less prone to outbursts.
I also do want to point out that when Chase goes to meet Pete and the rest of Josh's family, he is an absolute darling. Extremely polite, soft spoken, and it's obvious from how he looks and talks to Josh that Chase adores him, which impresses Josh's mother. Even though Emma is prickly and says some snide remarks to Chase, he's still polite with her.

He could've gone through proper character development and done more on veronikas case, slowly uncovering it as he finds out what made Marianne leave, then he could have had a whole montage where he COMMUNICATED with her instead of the same old 'id let the world burn for you' shit that people eat up so often. Liking her more isn't an apology, it's the author sweeping his behavior under his rug. He had room to be forgiven seeing as his background gave a reason for his aloofness, but the author just had to throw that away because God forbid the fl has time to shine for more than 10 chapters
